Happy New Year too you all. For years I have wondered how I could attempt to make a difference financially to my young family, other than becoming a slave to work. I always had shares in mind, but never had the knowledge of where to actually start the journey. That was until I found this place and it's members. Thanks to you lot, I have gone away, looked at a few recommendations, and now invested in BAO, FAST, GDL, TYN, with many more recommendations ready to invest in. I have 16 tabs open, all with potential.
Anyway, I started dealing with Hargreaves, was this a wise move?
I have shortlisted a few here for to put a few £k into overt the next few weeks. Any recommendations? I know a few have more potential than others.
QFI, WSG, SCLP, ACTA, BLVN, EME, PET, LRL, MWA, SAR, LGO, GKP, FJET, UEN, XEL, RKH, FOGL, MBO, PVR, MAGP
Thank you in advance.
Carl,
GKP seems to be the site favourite but I would not invest in any of your selections myself.
Do not use money that you can't afford to lose and read a few books such as The Naked Trader.
Best of luck,
Roy

Carl,
Great stuff. It is no secret that our Members are the best!
We hope that you make well-informed, profitable trading decisions in 2013.
Best wishes,
Scott

i,m sure we can look after the new posters : )
HNY
riddler, you were one of the reasons I stuck around here and got myself some GDL.
Scott, they are the best. Out of courtesy I paid for premium to give something back, as this has been a great find for me.
royjohn, thank you for your recommendation. Price is a bit high for me to buy enough shares to make a difference at the moment. One day I hope to trade in the £'s.
So far, I have spread a 1100 around GDL, TYM, BAO, and will be taking delivery of around 4k owed to me and ready to lose within the next week. Do I stick with my current holdings, or spread amongst some more?
