Predictions (BLNX)

So what does everything think the share price will be close of business on Tuesday after we find out what new comes from Apple and how it may impact Blinkx (positive or negative)?? My guess is 35p followed by a small dip to low 30's by end of the week. Followed by a jump to high 30's just before the AGM on 23rd!?!?!?!?

Not long to go (LSB)

39 working days left until we will know for sure the mid term future of LSB. They have to meet FSA regulation on capital or be forced to sell off RW. So looks like within 39 days we will hear one of those is happening. Or if those 2 are out of the winder, LSB will be taken over, which of course is something may of us feel is in the process of being discussed / possible due diligence bieng conducted. Either way, for the patient ones, not much longer to sit on your hands!

Somebody once said a while back this is a much unloved bank. I totally agree and would have thought they should be at least tracking the likes of Barclays. They haven't had a rights issue to raise capital and have not got as heavily involved with the sub prime debacle as some yet the share price is fairly low. Although in saying that you just never know for sure. Only an opinion!

T-Boi (HBOS)

Basically HBOS have stated that for shareholders to expect earnings to be anything like the past would be dreaming and that worse is to come. They also consider that it will be at least 2010 before lending markets will start to begin to open up. The other bit was about the likelihood of the largest mortgage lenders in the USA being effectively taken over by the government and the shareholders shoved on the sidelines , NRK style.

Re: Curve Ball 15th July.. (CHL)

That certainly proved to be the case. What is more, some Journalists have responded to the increased resource data by confirming that resource at the East Kutai sit has increased from 500m tonnes to 1.4bn tonnes, what they do not print is that the surveyed area covers only 20% of the site, so the upside potential from here on in is huge. With the much in demand for the lucrative thermal coal coming to market late 2009/2010 then CHL, possibly diluted by a raft of fundraising before then, could be worth tucking away on dips after share price earnings dilution hitting news is released. But apart from that nothing can stop the share price from rising from here.
