About: David recently retired, after more than 37 years working in the asset management parts of Barclays, most recently serving as Investment Director within its Stockbrokers arm. A qualified banker (Trustee Diploma) and in stock exchange securities, he has managed retail and institutional monies for a wide range of the bank's domestic client base with a focus on the UK equity market. David's leisure interests feature sport (notably football & golf), travel (both at home & overseas), reading (from topical current affairs to biographies) and music.
