Dairy Crest Share Price (DCG)

I sold some at the high 130's but am still sitting on some which I am happy to gamble with to the end.
120p vs 126p (now) is worth the gamble to me, but I think a counter offer is unlikely now.

I'm still sitting on my shares. Anyone have any thoughts on the upsides of staying put with them? I can get a higher return than the offer price by selling now. Not sure whether to hang on ....

The paperwork says shares will cease trading on the 12th April at 5pm.
So the next tax year.

not 100% sure without doing some reseach, but as i sold out already, i only keep a casual eye on here to see what's going on.

My gut reaction is that it probably wont complete in the time frame your worried about, although i'm by no means an expert in these matters, the last time i was in this situation, it took longer than i expected, hence why this time i took the option to leave at a price over the offer and which also covered my trading fees.

As for why it's still in the 630's I am at a loss to explain, i'd have thought that if a counter bidder was in the wings, that they'd have shown their hand by now, unless in some weird way, it pays for the company acquiring DCG to hold more of the shares prior to the deal completing, but i'm purely speculating on that.

Does anyone have any information on when this is likely to happen?
I do not want settlement in this tax year.

There seems to be a blizzard of buys going through at the moment - has someone had a sniff of a counterbid?
