Incorporated in England and Wales, Sound Oil is an independent oil and gas exploration company. It was founded in 2005 and admitted on the AIM market in June 2005. They are hoping to grow their portfolio with selective additions of different projects in the focus areas and also in other regions of the world.
No not in AEX just yet, waiting for 4.5p first. Big difference with AEX is that they have production ongoing, fully funded for new drills. SOU not funded without PI raise or debt elsewhere, once the pot is empty who foots the bill?
AEX was also just one example, SDX probably better, then SML 100% last couple of weeks. To be honest alot of AIM is outperforming sound.
dsmithy are you in Aminex.? We have been awaiting more news on that N2 drill a while now, beginning to think that nothing will happen with it now, regretfully. Hope it doesn't turn out like N1 ( not Nervesa ), discovered in 2012 and nothing done with it. Not de ramping it, I'm invested in it, but I do think many are over-hyping Aminex for sure. Many there have been saying they are better than Sound. Best joke I have heard all year! Cheers, Joe.
dsmithy, to be in this game you probably need to understand calculated risks. Take Badile, let's say we spend $20m on it with a one in three chance of success. And let's say if it hits commercial quantities we can expect to earn back between $200m and $1.7bn ( so between 10x and 85 x your investment back ).
