Well the meeting is about cobalt so I think there will be an update regarding this before otherwise they cannot say much more about the site itself than we already know due to market information rules and of course the scale of the resource itself needs to be determined and made a measured JORC compliant resource
Re:cobre news we will have to see but I would be surprised if there is not more going on in the background than has been announced , if we have to sacrifice some % to gain longer… Read More
Dvh I think the real question is if there are any period of non supply clauses to these SMG customers contracts in the event that smg does not have its licence renewed otherwise in effect we are handing the cobre owner the clients , I'm sure JP and co have this sorted....
I'm interested in the rail road access as current operations have limited supply volume capacity which is circa 1/5th of the original scope so impacts potential income massively
I think that the company would like to release a RNS with good news, a few days before the Investor Evening on Thursday 25 May. If the Cobre extension deal is complete and an RNS is released next week, there would be a 3 week wait before the investor evening. I think the SP could start to drift down, unless they have another surprise RNS before the meeting. I would think the company would like a bullish mood going into the 25th May. GLA
That's an interesting point dvharrison about reassurances being given for continuity of supply after next February. It is likely that this extension will be given but there will be an extra price to pay by SML. It is likely that this extra amount is still being negotiated and is causing a delay and a temporary brake on the share price.
