Maersk will be insured against collision at sea......at the very least, any collision such as just happened, will cost millions, do you honestly think that would suffer the financial loss??, their fault, or not?? That's what insurance is all about......isn't it??.
Qfi are a very long way from having to worry about cash, in reality if projects go to plan the share price would be at such a level as to require a minimal placing to tide things over till income flows, that us the reality of a successful 2017, of course things can work out differently but that worry is a long way down the track imo
It was just a thought. In construction you can insure for third party losses and it would be possible to quantify. A friend of mine used to do that for a living. it is whether they had the foresight to insure against it.
