Hi Taverham
Like Exstatex Billy regurgitates the same rubbish, without even trying to counter anything anyone says.
He becomes the 2nd person I filter out.
Agree with you about Sp movement caused by market misconceptions. If No Deal can be made, I am hoping for a simple Parlt vote for No Deal Brexit or No Brexit, or 2nd Ref with same Question. In either case I expect we will Remain In. About only things that can go wrong is Boris takes over, or Gen election before October.
Even given No Deal Brexit it will have almost no affect on Supply / Demand (nor the 200,000 social housing Required, yet to be addressed by Govt), so I expect Builders will still do well.
Only trouble is it will take far longer for Sp to return to a more reasonable value if No Deal Brexit.

Billy, low interest rate exist world wide and the UK cannot arise them in isolation without causing the pound to rise and jobs lost as a consequence. Therefore the current scenario is set to continue and the same low interest rates have pushed up all types of asset prices e.g classic cars. The other big impact is the growing population and you can blame our politicians of all shades for that .Clearly the market is thinking a hard brexit will cause the demand for houses to fall along with the population and economic activity , hence current sp falls. I think that is an incorrect assumption and will be buying more builders shortly.

Share price down 20% from peak.

House prices need to come down 60%+ in some areas.

It's like the railway mania all over again.

And without the FLS/Term Funding/QE/Low Interest rates and the odious Help To Buy ?

What then ?

House prices would be 60% lower and companies like this would be out of business and their land banks sold off at fair market value based on real world affordability not some low interest rate, corrupt money printing level.

They've not only been bailed out, they've profitted massively from all of this.

Brexit uncertainty, you are having a laugh, have you see the price of new builds, some must now be approaching 20x local wages. The next correction in real or nominal terms is going to destroy many in the UK.

The MPs responsible for this should be in prison.

Again, all IMHO.
