With sincere, due respect . . . to anyone who has endured working for them idiots.
My full respect to the ground force, the sales staff.
Some of Pen's D.P's just use them as stepping stones towards a career move, FairPlay to them.

There was a bloke they used to employed from Yorkshire as a sales trainer ( A walking inspiration ) he was a 3rd party to the company and empathetically polite. Hence a sales trainer lol.

Trevor and Martin I have had the unfortunate experience of knowing through my past, both I could have laughed at when the supporting finance bank nearly went down.

Their back sides went from a 50p coin to the size of a 1p coin a few days whilst that was happening !
Not so brash back then either.

Both are un pleasant false people who run a modern day slavery camp.
Both do not give a sole damn about staff either, both were and still are delusional.

When the FCA are finished picking fault with the banks and rates go up, wonder how many of pendragon finance details, get reviewed ?
Considering I would love to supply a list of business managers who sign off deals and can not even pass the regulated tests on their own.
If anyone needs proof I can supply it, though that would mean, such a percentage would involve a complete review.
Then all the disgruntled sales staff, who have subsequently left that career, maybe contacted via public media.
Who then can (Whistle Blow) systematic financial abuse that Pen' have got away with over the past 15 years.

We all know from ground level a really decent person who has worked at a Pendragon Dealership.
Who keeps in touch with another decent person, who does the same, ect; ect;
Facebook has its uses.
How many sales staff helped others in the dealership pass their on line regulated tests, whilst trying to hand over a car, answer the phone and sell their crappy stock all at the same time lol.
Whilst so much pressure was applied in a wet, cold $hitty month when the D.P had no choice but to run down stock, Then the sales teams get written warnings if they don't hit finance targets.
How many couples have split up over work pressure, how many kids never grew up seeing their mum or dad, because they works like slaves, maybe still do.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, surely pressure like that breaches all the FCA rules lol.
Working practises act ect;

Bet they still run their business the same way today.

Total respect to the poor soles who put up with Pendragon $h1& you all need a medal, plus double pay.

Well having worked in the past at Pen a few years back. I can whole heartily agree with all his remarks. The pay the staff poorly and expect you to make it up by up selling products to customers who don't really want it but if you say you need it because your car is unsafe they will buy. That what a manager told me to say !!
The Pendragon do have some good staff but people like Mr Finn need to ship out and get people like Kevin Gaskell to inspire staff and maybe profits will go up.

RE: Re Poor Customer Service

What would be nice is to see is to two board directors, investigated for insider trading / fraud.
Facts are there, if ever researched as they could not keep their mouthes shut after the Barclays crash, PDG was brink of going pop. That afternoon certain family members re mortgaged their homes, bought stock at silly pennies !
Interesting fact this all happened the same time QATAR shook hands with Bob Diamonds team.
So a lot of gloating went on in the Nottingham Offices when they recovered 30p some time later !
Casher wasn't so smart mouthed when I threatened to instruct a CCJ on them and work in the offices with some bailiffs a few years back.
Without naming names, which I can if I wished too, they run that company like "Owning slaves"
They pay peanuts on performance, hence having showrooms up and down the country full of failed sales reps.
The whole trade knows, if you work for Pen' your desperate and can't succeed elsewhere.
Buy a car off them and invent a problem that may cost them to fix, then you can experience the ignorants of the group.
Finance pen and extras is their only concern.
That group is a black cloud on the motor trade, sole destroying and I feel for them poor sales reps.
Would rather clean toilets in Mac D's than work for Pen'
God help a trusting pensioner who meets PDG business manager !!

On the other hand Sytner, what a group. From the days of Frank and his BMW's through the newbies today.
That group cares about its staff, if you are good, they help you grow.
Still want blood out of a stone, as all car trade does today.
Though customer service is always paramount.

Need a takeover
2 May '18
At least Mr Finn didn't blame Brexit for poor sales this time !! Need to employ the right people and need to get back to what a dealership is there for to provide cars to sell.
When is someone going to shake this company or will it end up like Currie Motors who were the biggest in the UK but went bust. Take over Take over please !!!
