Couldn't agree more. The comments from Beachside and Lucullus over on the iii site have kept me going through these difficult times. I am looking to top up before the ex div date and get my average down to a level that will at least give the opportunity to break even at some future date.
You are welcome. And I agree with your comment about the share - is I have been in this share (too) long as well.
Just read the results of the AGM. Interesting to note that a resolution was passed to buy back co shares. That could be a big positive. B
Just wanted to say thank you for your research and updates. As a long term holder, this has been a pig of a share but hopefully we will see some improvement as ex divi date approaches. B
According to rumors the best single offer for Berlingske Media was about £40-45m for the whole business, which was not viewed as attracktive enough since we now have the process with selling of the Danish operations in pieces. Source: http://borsen.dk/nyheder/avisen/artikel/11/49160/artikel.html?hl=TWVjb20, In another article a top manager from a large Danish media house has tried to put some pricetags on the some of the pieces: The newspaper Berlingske: 300m DKK (if the right buyer is there), sweetdeal.dk: 50-80m DKK, the parts to be sold to DSVP: at least DKK 75m, Local weekly sheets: DKK 150, Weekendavisen: 40m DKK. Source: http://borsen.dk/nyheder/avisen/artikel/11/49155/artikel.html?hl=TWVjb20, This all sounds good (About DKK600m), but then there is a lot of other activities which needs to be closed down or given away, which could be costly.

RE: Berlingske negotiations
The management teams at some of the regional daylies in Jutland (the titles included in the Midtjyske Media) have got 1.5 month to raise the needed capital for a buyout. Source: mediawatch.dk Midtjyske Media has to my knowledge been loss-making for some time and I view this as there are no real interest in midtjyske Media.
