For a company with decent growth coming 12-18 months away I think its a great price.

Considering ISAT's problems, a P/E of 11 is hardly a call to "load up as bargain" even if this has currently "bottomed" around the 440 levels. Many will be in it for the high dividend and when that gets looked at within the time frames you are considering there will be an impact. It's the long term (18 months isn't long term, even if it isn't short term either) ISAT should do well but I am pessimistic for 2018.

I too have my eye on ISAT as a medium term investment - for much the same reasons as yourself. I've not bought yet (been too busy with SAGA actually - a more immediate situation) - but given the first ISAT mini bounce of yesterday morning fizzled out so rapidly I don't think there is any immediate rush. Given the short termism of so many investors I want to be absolutely sure this is the bottom before buying - even if that means missing the very bottom and catching it in the embryonic stages of… Read More

The downgrade which sent the shares dropping, said that "they see limited scope for positive earnings momentum until late 2018" I'm not a short term trader so if this means supressed prices in the next year, that seems like a buying opportunity. I've been loading up on the bargain, If you need the money in the next 18 months then probably more risky approach, but so much market sentiment is driven by short term results rather than a DCF approach to the underlying value of a company.
Fri 00:26jaydaknaveRE: Shorters444.80No Opinion
I hope so. I have done alright with shares over the years but I have been a sucker so far holding this one. Every trader will tell you to cut your loses soon but I let this go all the way down. Also the dividend is high, another sign of weakness. It's a screaming sell. However broadband in the sky is coming and Inmarsat are in pole position if they get it together. I see a brighter future much further down the line.

..Its looking like a bottom to me, all fundamentals point to a nice bounce!
