Being as you only post on FRR and SOU boards, I hope your friend was referring to this FRR? Fingers crossed. :) Good morning all from sunny Cumbria. Temperature might even break into double figures today. Brrrrr, shiver me timbers!!!!
is from SB on ii. Just want to make a few more observations: when SN met the Georgian PM on the 18th March, he clearly stated that FRR intended to make further investment in the Geargian economy. We know that the company does not generate enough cash flows to make this investment. Does this mean he has finally secured finances to drill the 4 wells for Taribani field. I would say yes and this is based 2 key bits of information. One, the debt markets are more liquid (I have seen a number of small oil companies secure finance like Leni O&G and indeed Blake) and two, Jindal hitting oil probably improved sentiment towards Georgia. We also had a very high peofile GIOGI conference. If the gas is Hooked up, then FRR should be able to get the debt facility as the cash flow will be available to service this debt. We have also waited a long time for any meaningful update so let's hope this is the 'real deal'. But I am more encouraged that the company has not waited until the last minute (I.e 28th June) to give us an update - it means they have some concrete news! Could there be some JV news too? Let's hope so. Can SN finally become a Staint from a sinner, you'll find out in 10 days time!
Overall I don't think it is worth worrying about when the rns will be released and I will also say that it is only us that are thinking on one appearing. One thing is with the few rns's that we have had last year were generally just copy & paste, so there must be a good bit of stuff in the overview that we have not seen before, otherwise they would just be doing the same as in the past with an rns. So if it is news that has not been put out before they must have to put out an rns 1st.
Morning VW, tetchy & all
VW, in the overview frr are going to show they are as you say going to cover 2012 & 2013. So there is much that we don't know and the sale of gas might be on the verge of starting and at a bigger rate that what they have stated,, so by the 6th it is possible that will be included. There is a chance that the reason why they are having an agm is to make this a bit of a fan fare, especially if the news is big like we are all thinking. I will say though that as somebody said yesterday, we have to try and read between the lines, as frr never make it clear in their rns's.
Simon & Arsenal - that RNS
Slept like a top, and here is my latest theory. They have a considerable operational update to give us and some of that could be market sensitive, so perhaps RNS on Tuesday 7am appertaining to the pipeline and other possible specific recent developments with gas supply arrangements? So the sp moves up and at the AGM, another RNS is released after close of market UK as the AGM gets underway to go through the overview which contextualises everything and adds a touch of spice for good measure? Move over Agatha! I still felt the sp might have gone a bit higher yesterday but a nice rise over the next 7 or 8 trading days would be fine. Top slice at 2p. Happy days.
Good morning all, i'm not going nuts and no not the case that I can't sleep, i'm just getting ready to get off home after finishing my night shift! I have read over yesterdays RNS; Notice of AGM a few times and still can't quite get my head around the wording, maybe its because i'm tired or is it FRR's poor english lit yet again? Please feel free to help me out here and debate the following: 1. "The purpose of the AGM is to provide stockholders an overview of the company's 2012 & 2013 business progress" I read this sentence in the past context ie. this is what has gone on over the last two years rather than what is about to happen - correct? So for me the purpose of the AGM is to highlight to shareholders what the money has been spent on pre end of year accounts? This AGM as I read in the RNS is NOT to discuss "any future business plan"? thus no resolutions? If this is the case then why don't they just send it out as a flyer to shareholders or issue details in an RNS? Or am I missing the point here? 2. "A copy of the presentation to be given at the AGM will be available on the Company's website in due course". For me that reads ("presentation to be given") that FRR will before 6th of next month (within the next 12 days) put up on their website a copy of what they are going to present at the AGM, correct? All very odd to me or am I tired or missing the point? Right must get ready to get off home, have a nice one all and am pleased to report it looks like its going to be a belter down here in deepest Cornwall :-) ATB. VW
