Of course should Origin, if allowed to restart at Beetaloo, do slip up and during fracking pollute the water table, then that would be it. The NT Govt would be under enormous pressure to ban fracking in its entirety. From that perspective, Origin will do everything in its power to ensure its fracking operations are absolutely safe and performed to the highest of standards. The consequences for their Beetaloo investment would be disastrous

Just an observation this seem to be one of those scary things that taking absolute worst case that "could happen" regardless of the real probability,,, Also Coal Seam Gas is way way way different from fracking so the study is irrelevant in our case.

To try and force the thinking that they are biased because of this is asinine. But i guess that it is to be expected.
