Very violent reaction to the RNS, was not expecting such a slide in SP. Should be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. Not too concerned though, should recover nicely. I think 2014 will be a better year for CCL, nothing has fundamentally changed. Anyone Topping up?

There will always be issues of this type with such a large scale, global organisation. It's how they are dealt with and learned from that will be the test for Carnival.

Carnival: Exane BNP ups target price from 2550p to 2850p reiterating an outperform rating. Numis raises target price from 2950p to 3200pm, while leaving its buy recommendation unchanged.

Carnival Corporation plc, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange as well as in London, and its wholly-owned subsidiary Carnival Investments, said it plans to sell existing Carnival plc ordinary shares periodically at times when Carnival Corp. shares are trading at a discount to Carnival plc shares. Carnival Corporation plc intends to use the net proceeds of the Carnival plc share sales to repurchase Carnival Corporation common stock on at least an equivalent basis in the US market. Any remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes. The group said that, depending on market conditions, Carnival Corporation and Carnival Investments over time will sell up to 32m shares.
