starvest from a government point of view it's a clean line in the sand saying they are open for business. At the beginning of vid 2 AP mentions September as when it all goes live. AP knows if he says/hints at september the sp will tank until the end of Aug. To me it just seems like a good way to kick off the new legislation with an award of business to vast. Don't get me wrong I will be happy as Larry if it comes in before, but also happy to wait. GLA whenever it happens.

If you consider the projected production and supply imbalance for copper the outlook for prices is pretty good beyond this year. It would take an economic collapse to correct that imbalance (although clearly any kind of recession has at least a short term impact on copper pricing as it is generally seen as a bellwether for the economy and attracts trading accordingly).

If anyone wants to see what a severe supply/demand imbalance can do for metal prices, have a look at Vanadium. Whilst I don't expect a price reaction as severe with copper, I do think that prices could go much higher than people expect in the next few years to make more potential mines viable.

Lloyds is not yet as profitable as investors would like it to be. However, it has put in place an aggressive growth strategy. It has acquired MBNA, while also now being in the position to invest up to £3 billion in a digital growth strategy which will see it focus increasingly on customer service.

As a result, I think that the PE ratio of 9 and the dividend yield in excess of 5% which are currently on offer from the bank could hold significant appeal.

Of course, UK economic uncertainty could mean that the Lloyds share price fails to perform well in the short run. But with what seems to be a strong strategy which could yield improved results further down the line
