last post, over a year ago, look at the share price now! I used to collect models from this shop, they are always expanding with new releases that reel in the fools who have nothing better to do than buy more plastic. I think this will be a long term good'un although i've yet to do much research. I do know they continue to increase prices in-store contrary to metals such as lead rising at a slower pace. The recent strategy of changing the Lord of the Rings System to larger gameplay was rather coy, as you would need to buy more figures in order to field the larger forces. They have reduced stores in the UK, turning to online business and continue to produce good quality miniatures. Feedback of recent releases can be found on large wargaming forums such as the One Ring, in the news and rumours section. Their opinions usually portray the general consensus of whether a release is going to be well received or not. Can only see this company going from strength to strength in the long term

Games Workshop are like the biggest fish in the RPG sea A well know brand to many adolescent teens with too much time and loads of Mums+Dads cash to spend The GW near me is ALWAYS packed with kids and adults alike Their fan base stretches from young Warhammer's to OLD Warriors(D&D anyone?) Loads and Loads of people buy both the Computer and Table top games and as much as they complain ALWAYS upgrade to the latest rules and campaigns I still go in at least once a month to buy new figures, paint, allsorts to play with my kids as my dad did with me SO my Father was(adnd still is) a customer Im a customer my kids are(and will soon be) customers and their children so on and so on This brand has a great life expectancy! almost a gift during this economic climate!

Warhammer online at the door

In my opinion, the moment to buy GAW shares is now, the value has never been soooo low; this can only be an anticipation of something bigger. As soon as the beta version of the online game will be finished, WHO will attract lotta gamers that will pay to play at home without the need of assembling, glueing and painting. Lotta of money without opening shops and all the costs involved in the standard miniatures business. This will generate more profit and probably what will follow will be a lot of people fired, since the new money won't need any warehouse, centrifugal appliances and so on, increasing more the income. Again in my opinion the time to buy is now!

Weak Buy
I recommend buying now if you're going to at all. I would sell after october (or closer to the beginning of 2009, after the ubiquitous christmas rush), as GW will be releasing their 5th edition of their rules for warhammer 40,000 in september. Since holding stock off and on since 1998, I have noticed that their stocks will jump a decent percentage after they release a new rule set. Coincidentally, it coincides with their year end reports. This means all of the sales GW makes on forcing their customer base to upgrade will reflect in their report. Don't be fooled. After reading various forums dedicated to their companies products such as Dakka Dakka, Warseer (though oddly, GW has removed their own forums giving them feedback, due to customers quite vocal displeasure), there is a very large amount of dissatisfaction with the company, the products and the prices that they charge. The influx of money this late summer/early fall will only be a temporary reprieve. GW insists on keeping games designers that aren't very popular with consumers it seems, and this may be one reason why sales have been falling short.
