Sportech, 888 Holdings in strategic marketing partnership

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Gaming business Sportech Plc. said it has signed a strategic dist
Under the terms of the contract, Sportech said 888 will actively assist in the marketing of all of Sportech's products, and will also provide the company with a turnkey online gaming operation.
The contract is for an initial five year term, during which Sportech expects to yield significant benefits, and 888 expects this agreement to be material in terms of its earnings in 2009 and beyond.
Sportech also said 888 replaces Cryptologic Ltd. as its software provider for Casino & Poker, effective September 2008.
