Fri, 27th Jun 2008 08:38 LONDON (Thomson Financial) - SpaceandPeople Plc. posted a 19 percent rise in first-half pretax
profit, as overseas markets offset a UK slowdown, and said business is now back up to forecast levels.
The company, which manages the sale of promotional space in areas like shopping centres, reported a pretax profit of 287,000 pounds for the six months to April 30, 2008, compared with 241,000 pounds a year earlier. Revenue rose to 1.19 million pounds from 954,000 pounds.
