Mon, 30th Apr 2007 17:52 LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Ross Group PLC said its full year pretax loss narrowed in the yea
r to Dec 31 2006 while revenue increased due to increased activity in engineering and consumer electronics division.
The group also said it has managed to recover 230,000 stg from a debtor connected to a legal action brought by the Liquidator of VSI Automation (Technology) Limited against various parties.
The directors reported last year that they expected to recover between 150,000 and 500,000 stg and 230,000 stg has now been legally agreed as the net settlement to be received this month.
For the year to Dec 31 2006, the company's pretax loss was 914,000 stg, compared to 1.5 mln stg a year earler as revenues grew to 1.15 mln stg from 586,000 stg.
Ross said that it expects its engineering division to turn profitable by the end of this year.
