Mon, 12th May 2008 10:10 LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Plant Impact Plc. said it has signed an exclusive agreement with
DVA Agro GmbH to distribute the pest control product Bionic in Tanzania, East Africa.
Bionic will be targeted specifically at ornamental rose production in Tanzania, the AIM listed company said.
East Africa produces more than 200 million pounds worth of roses per year, requiring $32 million per year in pesticides, which represents 6 percent of the global pesticide market for ornamentals.
