LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Electronic Data Processing PLC. said it has exchanged contracts t
o dispose of its freehold office in Warrington to Mambo Property Ltd. for 1.6 million pounds in cash.
EDP said costs associated with the sale are estimated to be 30,000 pounds.
The net sale proceeds will be added to existing cash resources. The property had a net book value of 1.08 million pounfd at March 31 2008. The company said it will lease back a part of the property at an annual rent of about 24,000 pounds.
