LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Shares in Southern Bear edged up 0.5 of a pen
ny to 2.625 pence in response to a marginal increase in full-year profits and news that the company, focused on the UK industrial and engineering sector, has continued to trade in line with its expectations.
Elsewhere, traders aimed for Dart, 3 pence higher at 18-3/4 pence, after the aviation and distribution group revealed a swing to full-year pretax profits and said it is well placed to improve its financial performance in the current financial year.
Also on the upside, Intercede Group rose 3 pence to 27-1/2 pence as the producer of Identity and Credential Management Systems software, said it has made strong commerial progress in the first three months of the current financial year.
