Wed, 17th Sep 2008 08:42 LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Internet telephony company Coms Plc. said its pretax loss for the
first half widened despite higher revenues but said it remains very confident of sustained growth through the second half of the year.
For the six months ended July 31, the company posted a pretax loss of 516,000 pounds compared with a loss of 283,000 pounds last year.
However, its revenues were up 134 percent at 1.2 million pounds, the company said.
The company's cost of sales for the period surged to 849,000 pounds compared with 299,000 pounds last year and administrative expenses also shot up to 834,000 pounds compared with 485,000 pounds last year.
