Fri, 22nd Dec 2006 08:11 LONDON (AFX) - African Copper PLC said the government of Botswana has granted the company a 25
-year mining licence for the Dukwe project.
As a condition of the permit, the project will be subject to a 3 pct royalty payable to the government, it said.
The granting of the licence will allow the group to accelerate construction of the mine, which is expected to start production in early 2008, it said.
