RE: Bristol Presentation - summary

Thanks Riddler for the excellent summary and feed back of last nights Popcorn Event in Bristol, that I was unable to attend this time. It highlights the amount of time and manhours going in to get it right, if its as big as we all hope then its right that it is given that time and effort. We dont want any IF ONLYs.

Regards

I am not sure that clear and concise thoughts are Trellis's thing. He blamed his incoherence on alcohol yesterday, but unless he has consumed as much (if not more) alcohol today, then it is probably more of a characteristic of his than a result of alcohol. Bless him.

Trellis

you do make a point
albeit obliquely
and in your unique manner,

I think your sub text is really along the lines of 'how big a risk is TE9' ?

there is NO getting away from saying this;
there remains huge risk (of the well NOT being good/great)

for all of the geological elements to be aligned in our favour is possible
but very far from nailed on
the team is trying hard to reduce the risk at every angle
but they are part of the E&P community which, if you really study it,
shows itself , at least in my view, to be much less successful with exploration drilling than novices might want to believe

but the rewards here are off the scale or indeed several scales

this is VERY high risk/I would say the downside is buttressed
but again there would be substantial market forces at play that may depress the SP to levels we care not to think about

all the good work in the world (by our team/Schlumberger et al)
simply cannot deliver percentage CoS rates that we would all wish to see

ie make this an ODDS ON BET

sorry but there it is

do I think they will pull this off 'big time'?

yes
oh yes!

Have a good evening

fair enough worn if you are on some yellowbrick road in the sun. Nothing any of us say will affect the SP or LE anyway, but I prefer to stay in the realms of reality. have a great evening

It's not so much what you say *****35, it's the shitty sarcastic way you have with words. YOu may be an investment genius, but as a human being you come across as a real shhit.

Well that's ok then 250. even if its 3 dusters JP's unknown plans will still make us all millionaires. I will sleep happy tonight. I would say you couldn't write it but you have.

RE: limited downside risk

Thanks Riddlers

That is the very point, well said
I reckon we are already underpinned
(and by what I suspect to be a considerable % margin
vis a vis current SP
or indeed a SP quite a lot greater than currently)

would a duster at TE9 be a disaster?

of course it would be pretty appalling news

but what IF the drill took place after significantly more underpinning?

I saw in the Bristol event notes that JP had a plan for each eventuality on TE9/10/and maybe 11

who knows WHAT those plans might be
but IMO we are witnessing a chap who is in the midst of making all of us (YES, including himself of course ) quite a lot of money

timing : yes it is taking longer/they are being VERY careful re analyses/the upside is now even larger;
again I found some interesting clues in the notes from the Bristol event re the scale

my view remains simple:
if you have found a better risk/reward elsewhere then for Pete's sake
A) embrace it with open arms
B) but please tell me first LOL

limiting factor re downside risk here is of course what we already have in the bag

I am ed level of downside risk here
is NOT the downside of the drill bit (per Badile)
it is the downside risk on the current SP or indeed quite a way above that point
