Argentina economy is in a mess. Most people are on the poverty line. . inflation is currently running at. 124.40 %. pa bank interest is 118%. They. havent got any money and no one will invest with such risks . They can huff and puff but thats about it. More concerning to us should be the mess thats going on in Ukraine and the middle east , lets hope somehow that gets resolved . GLA
The elections in Argentina are merely a sideshow and will have no impact on what Navitas are currently doing or will do in the future. If they do influence the timing of any announcements (which I personally doubt), then it would only be by a matter of weeks so it doesn’t matter anyway.
Meanwhile the Navitas Falklands office continues to grow.
It’s says that Navitas have a new Office Manager
Probably as Mogger says been brought in to manage a growing UK outfit
Appears to have left a decent job with Israeli foreign ministry to join Navitas as well

Only one week till the Argentine elections but that is only the first round if there is no clear winner then I'm afraid it is more waiting. Then when you think you have waited long enough sit back down and wait some more as I am sure something else will pop along to delay us.!!
To win in the first round, a candidate has to obtain more than 45% of votes or more than 40% with a more than 10-point lead over the second-place candidate. If no candidate reaches this threshold, the top two will continue to a runoff on Sunday, Nov. 19
What does it say Mogger, please? I'm not in LinkedIn.
The issue I have with you ovets is the the logic that management will announce something when that are good and ready is correct but if that is a decade away it doesn't help us. You were saying exactly the same thing five years ago. Castigating negative posters was entirely wrong at the time and yet you have continued with impunity. For the record cautioning people on calling fellow posters morons is a bit rich or do you deem me to be sub human?
All,
Probably because the London office is getting huge.

Mogger
Latics, that's a big part of the problem - calling fellow posters / shareholders morons isn't helpful, especially as we're all supposed to want the same outcome.
I agree with CTS about Navitas probably waiting until after the Argentine election, which is only a week away, NOT 'two or three weeks'.
If you can't wait less than a week, there's something wrong with you.
I reckon Navitas will only announce something worthwhile when they're good and ready and not before.
In the mean time, do you have any reason to believe Italy will meet any of the very stringent reasons for an annulment?
What upsets you about the astonishing magnitude of the OM award, growing by £1.25 to £1.5 / month?
What have you heard that indicates Navitas, FIG, or anyone else involved is starting to get cold feet about the SL project?
You just seem to enjoy being negative for the fun of it, which is really strange now that you have admitted to taking up your warrants. Doesn't make sense.
@Ovets .. simple answer is : Don’t believe I am.
CitizenTS gives everyone the impression that ALL will be clearer if we wait two or three weeks until after the Argentine elections. So I merely point out a number of other items that also have the potential to cause delay.
Citizen reacts and asks what else I have apart from that.
Isn’t that enough ? I just want both sides of the discussion to be represented. What’s wrong with that, Ovets. I’m not disagreeing for the sake of it whatever you think.
Latics, why do you always have to be so negative and objectionable?
@CitizenTS … if the cap fits wear it, Sir. Suits you.
@latics, yeh but apart from calling everyone else children, sheep and morons you've nothing to add
One key 2024 date is what happens with Shenandoah. Don't see Navitas committing to FID on Sea Lion until the oil and gas are flowing from Shenandoah and think first oil there is tabled as late 24 but that may be subject to the usual start ups delays
And then let’s wait for Annulment confirmation
And then wait for the reaction to Israeli actions in Gaza
And then wait for Navitas to find another farm out partner
Yep … agree with you …CitizenTS … let’s wait some more
@Leeds, exactememt, let's wait till a coupl'a weeks after Argentina election
You’d think so Leeds, but then again, why bother when you are given share options and probably a hefty wad for just joining the company!
But let’s be honest, we would all take what is offered if we were in the same situation and I don’t mind if they can get this over the FID line and get the OM cash in.
As we edge closer to the 10th of January (think it’s around the 10th) for the final hearing on the annulment, then the die is cast. Can’t see them going back on their unanimous decision. Hopefully we won’t have to wait 6 to 9 months for them to tell us the annulment has been thrown out!
Then it should be onwards and upwards with FID, FPSO, Funding news coming thick and fast as 2024 leaves them with 3 years (to end of 2026) if Navitas really do plan for first oil in 2026! They will really have to motor, but then I believe they have been motoring behind the scenes, why else would they have been down in the Falklands again?

I think the shackles are about to come off the SP.
1,000m barrels of medium-API crude in shallow British waters with meta-ocean conditions no different to the North Sea.
An Award worth up to £250m and accumulating interest every day well over Euribor. This is an index-linked bond! Current SP reflect 1/4th of Award.
An oil price stoked by severe supply dislocations, immense geopolitical uncertainty and the exposure of the green con (just look at Orsted's share price over the last 6 months. Orsted is a teetering wind power giant).
Why is this not 20p already? Buy, buy, buy. Rest. Buy some more.
Sell your house, sell your pets, sell your aunt and your uncle. Buy more RKH shares.
OK off to take my meds now.
All IMHO DYOR
Happy
We have new Directors on board ,unless they are prevented from buying because they have been told about news shortly to be released or going on one would have thought that the new Directors would have at least bought some shares . We live in hope. GLA
I’ve stated my case. I cannot influence what you think.
You are mistaken if you think you can force me to choose one or the other since neither are true.
Pointless asking. Just accept, guys.
Don't be so pathetic latics, you're trying to be a bully, but not succeeding.
So what are you, ignorant, or a hypocrite?
@Ovets - and as I’ve said before , I try not to but when someone insults me … I shall respond.
You started the insults on this occasion so you only have yourself to blame :
‘ Now, either you are a complete ignoramus..´
I am no worse off than I was beforehand. Granted if RKH are successful then I will not profit as much as I would have if I had put the warrant money in from my pocket but I wasn’t prepared to do that.
I know you find that difficult to understand but that is my position and your continued insults and threats do nothing but strengthen my resolve to stand up to bullies such as yourself and Mogger.
"I still think Sam in not up to the job but he has you morons convinced he can do something about it and you can’t change that."
I'm sure you posted that you don't lower yourself to insults.
@Ovets - I’m happy to let my money ride. I can afford it.
I still think Sam in not up to the job but he has you morons convinced he can do something about it and you can’t change that.
As I’ve said before, as far as I’m concerned my money has long gone.
No Latics, your point all along has been to insult Sam as having been a greedy and incompetent CEO, and the last thing you'd contemplate doing is contributing any cash for him to squander.
But here you are admitting that you have taken up your warrants.
Now, either you are a complete ignoramus, not realising that the money raised from Warrants goes to RKH for their management to squander (as you would say) , or you are a complete hypocrite contributing to the very thing you have publicly stated you despise.
Which one is it?
@Mogger that is exactly my point. I hav just looked at my personal bank account and it stands at the same level as before I exercised the warrants.
