Yes Geo.
The RNS stated '... before the summer'. Sweden's summer starts on Friday 21 June. That's nine weeks tomorrow.
Andy, the end of June would be into summer. It should come before that.
It will show up on the agenda - it did so last time, and it will do so this time also.
I'm guessing the end of June :)
nothing this week - but if you look at what's down ("get some papers for something") it doesn't persuade me that a proper consideration of kallak will ever appear on the agenda - it's market sensitive. If it had to be at meeting it begs the question of why "getting some papers for something" is considered to be more important and urgent than sorting out Sweden's mining industry. Not had any effect on aktie either.
Right, Bobtree....we move on, very good joke. :-)
There is absolutely no point going over yesterday's stuff, I made my comments very clear on what I thought of it but today it's history and we need to focus on the way forward.
Ibjj comments made me recall the old Irish joke ( not the most pc in the modern climare but nonetheless worth mentioning)
An English speaking foreigner was enjoying a motoring tour of the west coast of Ireland and pulled up by a local country gentlemen and asked "Which is the best was to Dublin?" The local thought for a while and explained a route and then stopped and said then pointed in the other direction and explained what could be a better route and then decided that a third route could be a preferred candidate and the halfway through explaining a forth route explained the overarching problem by saying "If I wanted to go to Dublin, I wouldn't start from HERE"
Unfortunately, in life we have no options but to start from where we are now!
moving up over the water
Looking not so bad this morning...and a lot of goodwill and hope is gathering. :-)
Watch this space. :-)
Had the two most recent RNS been presented in reverse order, from a PR point of view, if nothing else, how much better a picture would that have seemed.
I am sorry to say this, but the company ( Kurt ) seems to be losing focus.
“ Adding shareholder value “ has been a phrase used more than once by Kurt. Where is the evidence?
The letter to the government was three years overdue. I vehemently disagree with the whole Kosovo investment and particularly the rush to plough cash into it. Even with the most recent cash injection the company owns little more than a third.
I don’t trust the Swedes one bit. Prioritisation of the application is meaningless. Lofven repeatedly stated the application was receiving due attention. Additionally, it is BEM stating “ by the summer “ Had I seen these words coming from Baylan’s own mouth, it would have carried much more weight.
Personally, I would be astonished to see a decision by the end of June 2019.
Glad you've been too Sooz. I have very fond memories of my time there and of Paris in general. Happy times. The structure remains intact. A blessing if ever there was one. Nighty morn. X
The towers, the faulted ceiling and the rose window are saved...I'm sure you know that, I'm just trying to ...you know.
I used to go there a lot and we'll go there again...and see it being rebuilt.
Maytree. :-)
I think we're all optimists deep down and hopefully we will be rewarded for it soon. No-one should worry about short term SP drops. Success will be based on getting the go ahead to mine Kallak, and the effect of any short term fundraising will be tiny/forgotten.
Yes it is. I can't be bothered with BEM today. x
It is a terrible tragedy about Notre Dame...didn't lknow about it yesterday until very late. Love that place.
Good suggestion, Treetop...been trying to work up some enthusiasm for the lead mine...now what will it be used for, it's pretty toxic to humans ... it might have contributed to the fall of the Roman Empire, so not all bad. It is still widely used for lead flashing in buildings and it looks nice and as a defence shield against radiation. Then there's that graph of Subtle's...what was it called, the life-cycle of a junior miner: when you discover something there is a big spike in the graph until you come to the orphan period when the first speculators have moved on and before mine production and in our case permitting. So...first spike still to come in Kosovo. And that 500K we've now got could we start drilling at Kallak Nr 2 and Parkijaure... well we could when they give us our licence back...there's a drilling programme in place.
Might be worth a few looking at the RNS yesterday to note Kurt's comment that already we have interest in our venture in the balkans by institutional funds. Could explain today although it could be daily mail esque whatever that snide comment is supposed to mean.
A good and very apt song from you too. Hopefully we'll all be singing that soon. It's nice to see that we still have a few optimists on the board.
Thanks for the song Suzy. It brought back memories of my youth. If we don't get our permit soon we might all be wearing "herring boxes without soxes."
No, I'm sure Kurt will get is to the finish line very soon :-)
Good idea but I'm hoping the next RNS puts us sing a different tune

Miners used to take budgies (canaries to be exact) down the mine with them to detect gas? Of course you did! So it's very good to have a Budgie. Sorry Kurt!
And smoke a peace pipe, eh? Nice voice:
