Who cares
RMP can’t stray too far from what the operator tells them. They’re not in charge of newsflow. Granted, that first progress RNS about the poor initial Nanushuk findings was poor. Could have been lots clearer.
Awful lot of all of the above from a lot of people over the last few weeks..The times I've been in stocks that people are predicting massive rises, very few actually materialise..
I'm a realist..I've traded this a number of times since the initial fall over and above what I've held for years..On the face of it I'm as confident as the next man..Like what has been said local drills have been a success etc etc so no reason why this wont be..On the other hand I'm far from impressed with how RMP have handled the newsflow and the information in it, and that doesn't fill me with massive confidence..
So I've engineered my position so that I've taken profit off the table from my trades,so at worst It will be break even and I've traded hard for nothing and I have worked hard at this, and at best I will earn a good wedge for my troubles..
No amount of ramping/deramping/price fortune telling is going to change my position now..I can happily sit back and what will be will be..The days I went all in with red or black are well behind me thankfully..
Hi James Atkins
I think you're right, RNS could land tonight in Australia.
Seems like a good time to buy and hold.
All the known facts are out in black and white. Nothing is hidden.
Looking good for the logging results.
We aren't at 8p cos it went to 1.4p where lots got to buy and sell now risk free.
If it had never dropped then it would be 10p now im sure.
Right Dr Mac we'll see. Do you think the sp is 5.4p for fun!
There will be a delay.
Let's see who is right!
Of course I'm begging for 150 foot of vertical too, but there must be a reason we are not at 8p if vertical play has been hit.
Like I said yesterday people set false milestones and expectations then when they aren't met the nervous sell. Just wait for when the company said they would release news then if nothing comes be disappointed. Having said that I think wireline will be done by tomorrow but whether they update the market at that point is another matter. I'd rather know when they've fully analysed the data
So your expert is a blog?
Right, seems sound that.
Horeshoe hit more net pay vertical than sidetrack
They've to be off the tundra soon. People should read the RNSes and drill schedule. 50 days from spud to packing up
No that's incorrect. They can withold wireline data under the commercial confidentiality clause. It happens all the time. Sacgasco, another Ozy company, ramped their Dempsey well in Sacramento last year as having significant gas shows then refused to release wireline log data to the market. Subsequent flow tests proved to be sub commercial even though they had big gas kicks and high pressures. The formation was too tight. They can withold what they want under commercial confidentiality I'm afraid.
Nicely.

One of the oiliest places on earth - Fact!
I think the shit has come before the herd.
We should be number 2 on there today but it doesnt seem to be working. I want my subscription money back.......lets get ready to roll we should be near the year high in the next few days before the all important results. We are surrounded by billions of barrels being produced and it should be us next.....
Its another piece of the jigsaw that should see us move into a 100mcap company in the near term. Depending on how good the news is Friday it could be then!
Looking promising for an rns tonight imo
Take your positions......
Gla
5.60 paid...
...that RMP would likely need a sidetrack to hit big!
It seems that my assertions have been further substantiated by a respected expert in his blog. See below a quote:
Just like horseshoe, a sidetrack drill might be planned to intersect even more net pay and find the sweet spot, this will be from a position of giant size strength.
There will be a delay. Please do not sell off too quickly in Friday doesn't bring the 'We've hit big'
That will not come until the sidetrack.
Hence the reserved share price, as I'm convinced that the answer we all seek will yet be some weeks away.
Wrong on many levels. The listed companies involved here will have to release info as material info. This area is also leased up. Initial flow rate will have to do for a purchaser as we dont have mths before ice pad and road starts melting. 2000bopd from Nanushuk and this will be eminently saleable at the first go.
I reckon this time they want to get it spot on
Think this could break out any minute
A nice 10k buy just in and lots of buys coming in. Just a few days until next results are revealed.
Not according to the drilling schedule on the 88 energy site bud..go read it
Wireline tests are not always made public to the market. Wireline results can remain secret under commercial confidentiality rules. They then enter into NDAs with prospective buyers of the license. They do this to prevent competitors benefiting from the information and poaching neighboring licenses where the field could well extend under. Any prospective purchaser will require definitive flow data, which, as I say takes several months. GLA
You are both right and wrong there, the process from here that you have stated is correct as it is on most drills. However diamond horse is calling this a failure before any of those processes have even been carried out which isn't fact it's a guess..The result we are waiting for is the initial wireline which is the beginning of the process which decreases the risk going forward even with any delays..The sp rise on those results alone will mean he will be margin called on the spike well before any pullback on any potential delays..If he started shorting on the spike I would agree with you but he's not which makes it irrelevant to your points imo...
Exactly if that is good, shorts will be diving for cover.Any day now
