Combined together between 1.5-2 BOE
I believe it's > 1 billion BOE combined.
@Phoebus, thanks. Do you know how big they are compared with Total Namibia?
Luiperd and Brulpadda are not prospects, they are discoveries.
@jackie1 How large are total’s Luiperd and Brulpadda prospect?
Wow that is huge....
From the same Graff-1 well source
Discovery Larger than Total’s Luiperd and Brulpadda prospect combined together southern coast of South Africa
or could just be packing up following tech difficulties. Funny why its gone quiet
At Venus 1 could be some monster find
Erebus55, when volume is low MMs are the masters. They coordinate to lower the sp to buy then raise sp to sell. They use the fact that in low volumes there is no choices for buyers and sellers but to accept their offer.
look at yesterday transaction list and see how many signals 'small transitions'. they sent to each other.
Price seems to be steady now based on end of day prices but why the daily volatility, going up and down between 0.75 and 0.85p most days this week. Clear when good news comes this will shoot up.
Out of interest I clicked on Geowiz's username.
In the last 30 days, 13 posts on GBP, 11 posts on BLOE and 7 WEN, there were other posts on other AIM listed oilers. I started to read some of the posts but was overcome by the negativity so I had to stop reading them.
It would appear that Geowiz focuses his / her posts on Global Petroleum, I wonder why?
Geowiz - I have to say that your deramping is becoming increasingly desperate, you keep repeating the same deramp time and time again. I'm not a Lawyer, but I would have thought that the global pandemic might be grounds for Peter Hill to use a force majeure argument for extending the existing licence, I'm sure that our oxbridge educated, former city lawyer is working on grounds for extending the license.
Venus 1 results will hopefully arrive during the next week and it appears that Shell have started drilling Graff 2.....splendid !
GLA
The CEO is doing the right thing, which is to extend the licence by another year ‘at the appropriate time’. We all know that we need a farm-out, so the ‘appropriate time’ is when a conditional farm out agreement is reached or, at least, more likely to happen. Renewing the licence with no prospect of a farm-out (eg. if Graff & Venus had both been dry) would have been a reckless waste of money and not in the shareholders best interest. So then, now that Graff ( & hopefully Venus) have been proven, then I expect that the application to extend will be made. As for Namibia Govmt, I think it’s almost certain they will grant the extension. By refusing, other explorers would lose confidence about making further investment and a very dark shadow would be cast over their offshore oil industry before its even started.
They have the license for 4 years and two years left and to be renewed on a every year basis, geowiz your deramping is just seriously getting bad doing the same thing here,
Charlie they have the licence until September. That’s all.
Then what? They lost the last licence when the term ended and they couldn’t pay the work P. Why is it any different this year? This will go back to Namcor in 6 months.
Ticor, lol great post and so true that's the reality we don't realise the real gains that can be had b cause we don't look down the road far enough as we have no patience, I only really started to make real money once I learned to invest with extra time and so far I've hit some good multibaggers, and believe this one will just do that if not this quarter deffo next, it's all just about timing
