Interesting article from December .... "" ..... is in Cameroon, where NewAge is operator for the Etinde joint venture, which has rich gas and a development concession from the government that includes FLNG. This, too, may produce 1 mta of LNG. NewAge has completed the tender process for the vessel alongside the CBLNG tender process. ... There is clear motivation for the stakeholders to want to take FID on this project before the end of 2018 although the upstream joint venture plans to drill more wells to prove additional gas, which may be sold to other domestic and export markets or used to expand the FLNG project ...."" http://www.lngworldshipping.com/news/view,newage-taps-opportunity-in-african-flng_50093.htm
Must admit I had some concerns myself, they are an activist group I had never heard of but they seem to be leaving it up to the BOD to get on with the job but I don't any of us are in any doubt what the end result will be. It is a case of when and at what value, and that centres around the success or failure of the appraisal wells. As a rule of thumb and purely from observations in the past I use $2 for contingent resources, $5 for reserves, and $10 for producing assets when trying to place a value on our investment. So in our case, we would be better waiting for FID when contingent resources become reserves.
Come on( fomoes ) get on board, the train is about to leave the Station. Now there's a good old fashion ramp for you
I was very dubious about them as well but they seem to be "just" investors at the mo. But, can they wait for the CPR after the drills and hopefully sell to the highest bidder along with the rest of us, or will they try and take us out before the new figures are known ....??
Yes, and the Le Coms of this world who were preaching that COC was going disappear into the sunset with our money. Not many of us left, glad I averaged down several times.
:~)
Fomoes Sorry Rivers please excuse my ignorance you've lost me.
Monday Bank Holiday as well Where are the Fomoes ??
Nice one. However, the long-termers who bought at over 300p will not be smiling. If there is a sale before drilling, I think maybe 55p? I can't recall what COC bought in at - was it @30p?
not heard that one for a while
The Eagle will be in Cameroon waters next Tuesday morning with her cargo the Topaz Driller on board would hate to be out of this over the weekend. Not long now Rodders.
your reet with that still way off my ave but hey ho
For the last 2-3 years blvn has been stuck and we have seen many very small share buys of the few thousands, but over the last few weeks we have seen many much larger buys of say 50,000 - 100,000 buys and some up to the 1m mark. Sooner or later this has to break out and go up to 60p- 80p
Long time no see peeps! Patiently holding for 318p
Really difficult to figure out what is going on here with BofA selling down and HSBC filling up. Why would BofA sell down at this stage after sitting on this holding through much more uncertain times? Answers on a postcard please! My sense is that it is related to a potential transaction which we will learn about at some point in the future. I will say that this is a hunch only. Given the small free float it is quite difficult to build a large holding without the price spiking so off market transactions take place at a level mere mortals are not privvy to. There is no doubt in my mind that it suits some for the price to stay at these levels and yes there are daily examples of price manipulation on the markets before some say this is pure fantasy. Patience will be rewarded in spades here over the next few months. An exciting period ahead.
Multi year high on some volume.. then drift to the lows...
use to think it could go to 4.00 again but have an idea if all goes well the top could be 80-90p so risk reward not fantastic although if drilling goes well 100% in a few weeks would be great!!! might even top up if it is good news !!!!
looking at the dates of hsbc and this one they are not connected ,
if it was in a block then it'll be a notifiable interest whoever bought it
12 o,clock auction might be interesting as buying /selling seems to have stopped for now
