I was amazed at such reaction tbh, not even got the pooter switched on, so missed out completely.
Although it is still possible to get the rig moved, It does seem pretty clear now we wont be spudding this side of Christmas as they haven't even confirmed the rig yet and on sattelite there is no sign of the new pad being created as I have seen. The most important thing right now is getting everything signed off because everything after that will look after itself.
The most damaging thing would be a delay in getting those signatures, so fingers crossed we are days away from confirmation of what the Sultan expected
MM's tried to panic holders into selling by dropping the price but it went against them. They need to be more careful next time.
Agreed ICB which is why I think the Kiliwani news should be of minimal consequence to the sp. Hence simply a knee jerk reaction by the MM's to last night's RNS methinks.
SP has now returned to the opening price with 6 million buys v 2 million sells. Yesterday’s RNS is not relevant to Ruvuma and that news was in the public domain and on the bb’s on Monday.
I don't think my earlier expectation has changed, Development licence and GSA before year end ( I think the 3D results are also due then?) & then production could well be Q1-24 and drilling of the third well CH1 in Q2
Lets see what the operational update that is due confirms.
More likely I think that the MM's totally overreacted to the "after hours" but somewhat inconsequential nature of the Kiliwani RNS late yesterday.....
Actually it may be far from being inconsequential in it's impact on the Kiliwani license but that should not be a material factor in our short to medium term sp, in my view.
Fair enough, thank you.
Anything I say would be a total guess, but I do think we are due an Operational update and I suspect it will highlight a delay, or delays....
Loved the opening spread of over 30% ...nice I think the MM's did fine POC
What is your suspicion Crusty?
Simply an unusual, unsubstantiated anomaly? Or no smoke without fire? I cannot claim to know but I will be sitting on my hands; maybe there will be an RNS out soon?
MM's taking a kicking on that drop. Losing money no doubt.
Somebody got lucky then, I cant get a quote for more than £500 and they want 1.08
Happening again!
Chomp, chomp...
Absolutely no impact in the near term, and was free anyway. I just missed out on buying that flash-crash.....0.84p
Wow !! strange drop in price. Huge buying opportunity.
...and Tanz, you're blaming me for your very poor investment decision many years ago.
I suggest you focus your attention on the share price. What did you pay back then ?
10p ?, 15p?, 20p ? More ?
You made a mistake - it's that simple.
Interpreting the 3D data requires someone with half a brain, and I don't think we have such a person.
My dear young jollyboydrewky.
There are three things that Aminextyear is good at :
1. Delays
2. Disappointments.
3. Being a very poor investment.
Surprise
News…. But not the news everyone wants
Same old Aminex
CH1 was always intended to be drilled before NT1 workover, nothing has changed there. NT2 well testing was due months ago though.
Leagreen, I believe it was the same company that did the siesmics for us that was doing it for Orca but they have nothing to do with the analysis of the siesmics, they simply acquire the data and hand it over. The rest is up to ARA geologists to interpret and now RPS for the independent analysis.
Agreed Crusty. without the pipeline in place there is no priority to workover NT-1.
"The third party contractor responsible for the seismic program has suspended operations. As a result, PAET has issued a breach of contract notice to the contractor. The contractor has failed to remedy the breach under its agreement with PAET. The Company has therefore terminated the contract on October 25, 2023."
Is this contractor also the one responsible for the Ntorya survey, processing, analysis and interpretation the final results of which were due by the Summer?
If their non performance has been due to their going bust doesn't that seriously damage the Ntorya programme?
Smudger, I might suggest that if CH1 is to pre-date NT1 workover it might be because without a pipeline and a GSA a workover is no longer top priority. NT1 workover was to facilitate earliest possible production date but that date may now not be as originally planned.
