Guys, I think you're missing the point !
We have no drill, nor drill pad, no GSA, no pipeline, etc
Read prosciutto's latest post
Also nice to see the northwest arm also protrudes into the current licensed area.
"The results of drilling the southeast arm do not provide a test of the northwest arm and so the northwest arm should be considered as a separate lead/prospect"
BG,
Thanks, that was my reading of it and the map confirms it.
Crusty Slide 7, You can see Likonde leads in orange and with the southeastern up-dip lead reaching as far as what was going to be the CH-1 site.

"Semantics BG, Likonde 1 is NOT in the Mtwara licnse area and Likonde 1 was chosen as the "optimal" drill location for that prospect. "
What's semantics got to do with it, we're not talking about the Likonde well, that was just a shot in the dark, but what the well revealed, (the potential Likonde leads), and in particular the (southeastern arm Likonde Updip Lead" )
"(Table 6-3). Given the proximity to the Ntorya field, RPS recommend reviewing the location of the
planned Chikumbi-1 well to ensure a confident test of the southeastern arm Likonde Updip Lead."
I don't expect ARA to drill "the southeastern arm Likonde Updip Lead" as part of the CH-1 drill, suggested by RPS. The reason is that ARA put the "Chikumbi Jurassic" on hold because CH-1 is a development well to get the gas into the pipeline, so ANY exploration targets have been eliminated from the CH-1 drill.
But what I do find very interesting is that ARA appear to be in a position to drill into "the southeastern arm Likonde Updip Lead" from the CH-1 area, as that lead extends close to CH-1, so they wouldn't need the Lindi license to drill that target.
"The Likonde updip lead is a potential lower Tertiary stratigraphic trap located updip of the Likonde-1 well (Figure 6-4). The well encountered a 96.5 m net reservoir sandstone of Oligocene age resting on the Base Tertiary Unconformity. No hydrocarbons were encountered at this level. The Likonde section also contains thick shale sequences which appear capable of sealing significant hydrocarbon columns. No particular source rock sequences have been identified in the well, but the presence of oil shows in the Cretaceous and Jurassic suggests an active petroleum system is present in the area. Likonde-1 may have failed due to the absence of a trap. However, new seismic interpretation indicates that the Likonde fan may extend further updip than had been previously recognised. There is therefore significant remaining potential updip of the well."
"The trap is stratigraphic, analogous to the discovery in the Ntorya-1 upper gas bearing sandstones; it comprises a channel-like body with stratigraphic updip pinchout. The fan appears to consist of two arms that converge downdip to the northeast. RPS recommends that each arm be defined as a separate prospect."
"Given the proximity to the Ntorya field, RPS recommend reviewing the location of the planned Chikumbi-1 well to ensure a confident test of the southeastern arm Likonde Updip Lead."
...and he will dream on Crusty (on and on and on)
...with UWE as the undisputed chief ostrich.
Semantics BG, Likonde 1 is NOT in the Mtwara licnse area and Likonde 1 was chosen as the "optimal" drill location for that prospect. There is Zero reference to Lindi or the Likonde prospect in that entire presentation and at none of any AGM's in the last 9+ years, so yes BG, it may literally be part of the Mtwara license area but for goodness sake get real.... it is not a material consideration and is nowhere on any development road map. Dream on.
Welcome to the ostrich house guys !
Many here have had their head buried in the sand for years.
Kread
Am absolutely with you.
;)
You know that we know that he knows that we know that he knows knotting.
Knowledgeable ?
Also Rojo states that having a diversified portfolio is essential, yet seems to only spend time on the AEX BB?
Pls try harder to to bring the price down guys, want to by another wedge, before the news arrives.
Someone as knowledgeable as you RoJo could've traded their way out of their predicament rather than being stuck in a 4p limbo all these years.
Not looking as if you've got long to wait jollyboy.
Well the months of deramping by you guys is still not helping to get me some shares for less than 1p.
You are running out of time guys. Step on it, you need to up your game
I have to agree with you this is a bust. This government is just stringing people along there is no real desire to push this project forward.
October 2023 was to be the 'first-gas' date as predicted by some. October has come and gone and no gas production.
" Production by October is nothing more than a pipedream. The subterfuge here never ends." May 2023 Prosciutto.
Production by the end of 2023 is nothing more than a pipedream.
Scirocco has left the playing field in tatters. Wentworth and Orca Energy Group are both experiencing difficulties as a result of the trials and tribulations they are being put through. Aminex won't be immune to this tough business environment. The word 'proactive' simply does not exist here.
The 'reality list' ... not the 'silly list' .. is listed below.
No Ruvuma 3D seismic interpretation released.
3D seismic over SongoSongo and part of Kiliwani North Development License was terminated by Orca Energy Group.
No new Competent Person Report.
No Nt-1 well workover
Going onto 6 years waiting for the drilling of Nt-3 / CH-1
No GSA signed.
No Development License approved by cabinet of Ministers.
No Nt-2 well testing program
No Ruvuma License extension
No Pipeline
Cost of conversion into $US will be excessive.
Negative working capital.
No say or sway over anything.
No control over anything.
Non operator at Ruvuma

Because of the extensive suffering of Aminex shareholders, there must be plenty of wise investors here. Perhaps, wise enough to encourage the takeover of Aminex. Be happy with a 30% premium to market and hope to hell the takeover will secure regulatory approval.
Yes guys, but the SP is falling through the floor !
Also of interest here:
The prospective resource assessment as performed by Senergy appears reasonable for this lead
(Table 6-3). Given the proximity to the Ntorya field, RPS recommend reviewing the location of the
planned Chikumbi-1 well to ensure a confident test of the southeastern arm Likonde Updip Lead. The
results of drilling the southeast arm do not provide a test of the northwest arm and so the northwest arm
should be considered as a separate lead/prospect

Something that could make Lindi worth a second look. I know the BoD said at the AGM they were not going to look at bidding for more areas, but this does make the Lind area sound rather attractive.
"11 blocks in Tanzania are currently active including three deep-water tracts operated by Shell (blocks 1 and 4) and Equinor (Block 2) that will feed some 26 Tcf of gas to the proposed liquefied natural gas plant at Lindi."
https://clubofmozambique.com/news/tanzania-to-launch-first-oil-and-gas-bid-round-in-a-decade-238290/
"We no longer have the Lindi License that Likonde sits in...."
Look at the map, and you'll see that the Likonde prospect goes into the Mtwara Licence appraisal area under the Cretaceous, so yes we do have the Likonde prospect.
Mistakes are easily made Crusty.
At least we can look forward to prosciutto's clarification today...
