…. and by the way. It makes more sense for the majors and for NAMCO, to pick the lowest hanging fruit first. Extracting oil from shallower water is far easier & more profitable than the mega-deep waters at Graff & Venus. With the same source rock at Global, but far shallower water, that makes us a prime target for a major. We already know that the farm-out process is underway…. which includes extending the licence…. but who are we speaking too ??????
Last 3-4 weeks have been pretty accurate… hitty/missy before that. I managed to make a decent contact about that time who is a little closer to the rumour mill than most. Just rumours though… not facts :)
Fair enough mate. I wanted to follow you cos of your knowledge of GBP. It's pretty accurate. Well done and THANKS
No mate…. I do go on occasionally and read some of the posts but I’m not really a social media person so don’t get sucked into all of that stuff. Each to their own though :)
Spike66 are you on Twitter?
My understanding is that the Graff & Venus discoveries have now provided the business justification case to spend money on extending the licence. News of this will come first because it improves GBPs position when it comes to negotiating the best possible farm out deal. Watch this space !
as the total drill proved the viability of deep water reservoir, there will be a first a wave of demands to get or extend the walvis basin licences especially those at deeper waters including gbp previous licence. The walvis basin starts from 40 km from land and extend deep 270 km in the deep waters. echo is half in half out of the field. gbp is straight above the field and the old gbp licence is on the field as well. by total find approximation expect gbp to hit 66 meter depth of reservoir with the same staff 'light oil' and gas. I can see gbp wanting to grab its previous licence as well.
Presumably PVE Consultants will be better placed than Stellar were as a result of the recent successful drilling offshore Namibia. Perhaps this is now or never for GBP to achieve something for its long suffering shareholders.
From Global’s RNS yesterday;
Farmout
“On 9 November 2021 Global announced that it had appointed an advisor, PVE Consultants, to assist in the farmout of its Licence PEL 94, offshore Namibia. THIS PROCESS IS NOW UNDERWAY.
I’m expecting 2 RNS in the very near future. One being that on the strength of the Graff & Venus discoveries, GBP have now extended the licence to Sept 2023. The other being confirmation of their being multiple interested parties now in discussion with GBP about farm out deals ( although not revealing their identities). Once again, rumours not facts. Take it or leave it.
Eco market cap is 10 times that of #gbp 10-20 times is simply not out of the question when we start drilling fact
'the Company continues to witness considerable interest in Namibia from multiple international oil companies'
Bodes very well for a GBP farm out especially as GBP's licence is directly adjacent to ECO's most advanced Namibian licence, the Cooper Block.

Easy bagger this one lads, load up load up she’s off to the moon. Don’t want to be out of this at the weekend. Shorters burn etc. You mean all that twaddle lol ahahha
It’s probably Tony Belvore off twitter. That clown keeps shouting 100% + rise incoming today.
Makes himself look a complete bell end..
Every stock he buys he ramps to death every 5 minutes. If you’re reading this get a grip you clown! Let the stock do its thing without preposterous predictions!
What happened? Where are those claiming 1p , 100% and even 200% ?
Embarrassing.
I think gbp will rise considerably too ,but these jokers don’t help anyone
Unbelievable share price here, market cap is near free lol, farm out news now a month away, people still don't believe it will happen so not willing to hold, but when it does this will rocket and some will kick themselves
Geowiz - I noted earlier on today that you stated "I hold in both Total and Shell", your posting history on LSE shows that you have not posted on Shell during the last 30 days, slightly puzzling given Shell's Graff 1 discovery ?
Good luck with your investments.
With the Russia conflict this may affect the electric car industry can't be sure but they have a lot of the resources we need and oil supply, oil stock will go through the roof now, expecting a farm out here and it will be a stringer rise now
The world will still run on hydrocarbons for a long, long time I'd expect, whether you like it or not.
With oilprices over 100 USD per barrel and growing world population there is a massive growing demand for energy

Shell drilling appraisal well
Total could be planing to do that immediately
Never ending news
Very hard to buy a decent amount on the drop
Buy the dips, silly not to
Best to switch off, ignore the noise. Focus on the oil, can’t go wrong.
