For the share we dare not name, Ups1de
Latest Chapel st deal means we cover the share price with dosh!! Just a significant private equity portfolio on the side & limited liability carbon credit offset. But plenty value.Cmon big VC houses...a great arbitrage play.
Trading Emmissions, an AIM-listed investment company, has disposed of its holding in Chapel Street Environmental, as part of its current investment policy. The sale earned the group around £2.5m, which compares to a carrying book value in the last audited financial statements at June 30th of £2.3m. The transaction brings the total proceeds received from Chapel Street Environmental during 2012 to about £3.7m.
Yes, different value proposition here in TRE GL & atb Jolly
Looks messy.Detailed commentary in TRE final results of Nov 8th.Carbon liabilities worst case quantified;excellent progress on cer exits( as many non binding. As & when cash is released from the private equity portfolio price has to jump.Cmon BOD get the finger out!
check out CCE & the continuing horror of CERs Have a good evening Jolly
I need to get out more because this stuff makes me laugh, and your commentary is even better
jollyspeculator,It's quite a board! Dont you jolly well smile at the expert Chartists...it's definitely, maybe, whoa change direction,no its right where I started before changing 180 degrees...charts invented to make astrologists look credible.
Ups1de, you could not make this up - I want it framed as an Xmas present "Hindsight is a wonderful thing Chris and fortunately my memory is as well. :-) What actually happened when we were 5p was everybody was talking about 5.5p and then 6p on Prucha etc. Not only that but there was much talk of chart breakouts and people posting charts with bullish indications. No sign of any bears then. Isn't it always so? There was mention of retraces, indeed I think we all acknowledged that there would be and had to be a retrace at some point but no one knew how much and how far the share would fall. Each to their own but I did not trade the stock partly as I thought it a risky thing to do and partly because I couldn't be ars*d! Maggie is just one of a basket of shares I hold in my PF. An important core part but just a part. I don't put all my eggs in one basket - fundamentally important element of investing - do NOT put all your eggs in one basket, no matter how tempting the mistress may be! I remember you telling me a while ago that you had fallen in love with this share. Let me tell you that this is not a wise thing to do. I think you need to be told this because you are treated with too much deference on here and judging by some of the things you have been saying today it has gone to your head IMVHO. I also think its a bit unhealthy the way you and Baron seem to dominate this board. It's the reason why I have backed off the past few weeks because it doesn't 'feel' right. I am prepared to get a lot of stick for saying this, I know both you and Baron are very popular on here and I can understand why. I'm sure I'm going to be ostracised by many of your 'followers' but hey ho thats life. You gotta say what you think haven't you mate?" er.. I had specific posts/traffic with Dibs challenging his positivity at c 5p and you have been doing battle with the pirates ever since Whatever Jolly bemused
Scares me a bit when they report UK,USA & Germany disappointing for leading edge market research.Definitely sub £2 but not sure it would quickly fly from that level until investors reassured this was a blip.Would you be patient enough?
with pirates, I see - amazed at your hardiness; well done noted you lucky escape from BJU - good on you; what price do you reckon makes sense there? less than £2?
but who knows? I was confident that 5p was poor gamble...and if anyone paid attention to littl' ol' Jolly on the BB, then they are happy (or more likely, would have be happier!!)
Early excitement over 'old news'...how many ways can you spin an old cat! Stil it's not a ' dead cat' but headed south to a more credible level. What price would you go in at?Bought some Polo today...another one that will pleasantly surprise the patient player methinks.
