I know I should, but I really enjoy the research side of investing - i.e. looking at the non-tangible aspects of a business as opposed to pure numbers. Saying that, I will get round to getting hold of a chart theory book at some point - it will have to be pretty basic for me to get my head around though! ;-)
very confident buying going on here. Been looking at some of your posts Riddler - dont make a habit of trading based on technicals usually, but it makes interesting reading. Thanks.
I thank you again and I would be happy with 45p-55p range from my entry point of 33p :-)
The best has been seen for today in my books.. The harsh reality that shareholders will have to wait for a few more hurdles to be jumped before the gravy train is given the green flag. So lock in those profits today and consider selling while the initial egm euphoria continues, and churn profits on any weakness, run remaining stock for a roller coaster ride..
The egm went the petitioners way. Now is the uphill task of disposing the assets in a property averse world, in an orderly manner, meaning those assets that are easily offloaded will go first. There are question marks over the legitimacy of the disposal of some assets and the repatriation of funds from India on the sale of those assets. There are a number of possible contractual ltigation claims which will outstrip the current market cap if instigated and prove successful. With a passed resolution to buy back up to 70% of the issued shares, this number being the near maximum in order to keep within the listings rule of not less than 25% of the shares being held in public hands. The nav of £1.4/share is only a book calculated value, but now the assets have to be disposed off in an orderly fashion, this is going to prove a tad difficult task in the current economic climate. The Directors also have a mandate to review its investment policy. It could well be members will have to wait some considerable time before the "gravy" is served up. But the egm result should cause the share price to respond well until the full implications of the egm results dawn on the market.
Thanks for the help i had a quick look around other sites and noticed this on reuters which must be positive lol http://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks/overview?symbol=TRC.L Never seen the scale like that!
