Being an accountant I can see the logic but seems a bit hasty imo.
As you say they are just ticking over with a complete lack of ideas.
The only way the company will grow is by at rto of nxt. I think will ultimately happen it's just when.
There are a few substantial shareholders here.
I'm surprised they haven't got things moving here.
It does seem pointless keeping the company going in it's current format.
Most companies would have called it a day by now but the fact that it is still in existence makes it more likely that an rto into nxt will happen.
We do of course have about 4 million in losses that can be used against future profits.
Hope it turns around soon.
Why do you think they have written it down Steve? It seems to me they dont seem to have the ability to really invest in something that works? More the fool me as I invested in LDP so more the fool me. What is the point of LEED existing to fritter and fart along the bottom of nowhere. It seems every time they come up with the next magical investment it turns to ****. Maybe a bit harsh but they dont exactly seem wizards at chosing investments......then again neither did I. Anyway what do you think what will happen and why the 50% write down? No option to hold but was looking for something magical from them .
Showing at companies house filed a day late so a fine of £750. With only about 15k in the bank not very good housekeeping. They have written down our nxt investment by 50%. Seems a bit hasty to me. Not much of any interest really.
Good evening to you.
He reiterated the cost.
I don’t honestly think it was a big figure.
The easiest way is Leed reverse into nxt and then nxt list on the London market on aim.
They would have to pay the listing fees together with any other fees.
We would then own a proportionate number of shares in the newly listed nxt shares.
Follow the link on Leed website to nxt tec website.
News a couple of weeks ago regarding worldwide patent on flooring system can only be a good thing.
The Leed board are disappointed with the slow rate of progress but hope that it is not too long before building projects commence.
I hope the accounts include some indication of nxt current trading and timeframe for ipo and a London listing.
Regarding our investment in nxt.
Our shares according to Charles were purchased at an average of 31c a share.
Nxt are proposing a listing price of about $1.90 a share a 600% increase in our investment about .009p a share. A million shares would therefore be worth about £900.
Hopefully with the European patent in place business will be obtained and building projects will commence.
Hi Steve, Whe you chatted to Charles Zorab was there an indication that at some stage LDP would relist again? costs a bit to do I believe but given the 4m tax it would be worthwhile for someone. The shares of old which I can still see today would then be what? worth something you reckon? still would count as a Leed Resources share? I guess it must be for something and the company still going for a reason down the line you would think.
Ref nxt, I cant see anything exciting from them, I have written to them and although the response is professional it looks like they are dead slow and stop for progress. It was always a long wait game to see if we get anything back and not impossible I suppose but I thouight nxt might have been further down the road by now although I dont know enough about them and can't see much in the press or online from Oz.
Good evening to you.
The recent granting of the European patent is very promising news.
E mailed Charles zorab a couple of weeks ago. He said they were leaving accounts as long as possible to hopefully incorporate news regarding nxt.
IMO an rto is very likely as Leed would already have a London listing and about 4 million pounds of tax losses which nxt could then use against future profits.
Could be that Leed could hold the rights to the uk patents and earn income every time a sale is made.
Hopefully a much brighter future.
Good news coming - I can feel it.
Should be filed on time like last year.
Wont show for a day or so on companies house site.
Worldwide patent granted a few days ago for nxt building system. Look on website through leed link.
No results yet, looks like a big fine coming.
Regarding value.
If ipo at the figure quoted about $1.90 we would make about 6 times our investment.
If you include tax losses I would estimate at almost £3 million pounds or about .009 p a share.
A holding of 100,000 shares being worth about £90.00.
A holding of 1,000,000 shares about £900.00 and so on.
Correct me if I’m wrong.
It will be interesting to see any comments that are made in the final accounts which have to be filed by 30th of this month.
Hi Thomson.
Not sure if that is your first name.
As it stands we still have our original number of Leed shares.
IMO as nxt have stated they want to have an ipo and be listed on the London market probably aim or could be a full listing depending on size.
The best case scenario would be a Leed reverse takeover of nxt tec.
The advantages for nxt tec would be a ready made London listing and use of about £4 million in tax losses which would be a tax saving of about £800,000 against future profits.
It has been slow going but looks much rosier for the near future.
If the directors had wanted to call it a day and wind things up I’m sure they would have done so when the limestone investment went belly up.
Only time will tell.
Steve, I take it they do not expire? I still hold my shares and I think if nxt are looking to list then Leed would be a sensible option I guess. What would or could be the possible outcome for those shares/ value if that happened?
Hi there.
You still have your original number of shares.
It's just we cannot trade them at the moment.
Hopefully we will relist or rto into nxt tec so would then own a number of nxt shares instead.
ATB
Hi all,
I'm sure this has been asked before. I have some Leed Resources PLC shares from years ago. What does the latest news mean, if anything, for holders of these old shares? Will they be merged into NXT shares? Are the old shares essentially dead and gone?
Patent granted for all eu countries including uk for innovative flooring system.
For 38 countries.
Flooring saves on time and materials. Huge potential here.
Hopefully the marketing is being done with ipo not far behind.
Leed involvement maybe for uk operations.
IMO at rto into Leed giving us shares in nxt tec who have said they want a London listing.
A few million of losses available against future profits.
Expires 30th April 2035.
Maybe things moving at last.
Hope all well.
E mailed Charles Zorab got a reply saying the annual results delayed hoping for news from nxt.
He says projects are in the pipeline and nothing really started.
I sincerely hope something happens here soon for the good.
With the bushfires last year and COVID this year we have been unlucky.
Still shows pre ipo fundraising on website link from leed and no news since March.
We should get the delayed annual results by 30th but not expecting much of interest.
Nxt are still trading and have a strategic investor that has so far invested $2 million aus dollars. So someone thinks it’s worth investing in. If the ipo takes place it will supposedly be at about $1.90 a share. Our investments were made at about 31 cents a share so potential 600% return on investment.
ATB.
Steve
Steve, can't find anything either on construction from nxt. Investment in nxt so small nxt hardly know them.
They did say that they would be completed by 31st July, although companies house have extended to 30th September. So not really sure.
Checked on nxt projects. I can find no evidence that any have commenced construction.
Annual results not due by end of July??
All fine thank you.
The chittering project is circa $500 million aus so big money involved.
I find it very difficult to find any information as to whether any of the projects have been started but assume so.
Accounts due by end of July so expecting further update soon.
ATB
Steve
Hi Steve, the development for nxt does look like it is happening but will that filter back to a good return to Leed and in turn a return to those holding shares in LDP?
Hope you are well.
Good evening to you.
I think if projects that are listed on their website are done we should see a multimillion
pound return. The resort project is over $500 million alone.
London listing imminent at about $1.90 a share.
Leed investment at about 30c a share so at least a six fold increase.
Results due in next few weeks hope for an update soon.
Time will tell, I still think we will get some value from our shares.
Think our money is gone
That would be nice.
