yes it was quick drop on US open yesterday that took SP down to 61.5p, i had chance to buy at c.61.9p but having bought several times during the day i already had my fill. i sold some just before close on that move to c.64.75p so i could buy back into another beaten down stock..sods law says this will gap up to 68p and beyond early next week. i got frequent trader discount with my broker at the moment. 6 per trade till the end of this month. I'm surprised to see sub 65p here.
And to finish on a positive note a "1" share trade most think is news on the way by the 1share trade 16:28:51 64.00p 1 2 days chart - bottom sell price 62.75p https://tinyurl.com/yd4qq54y

the calm before the storm? recovery or crash & burn? something to think about! gla
Honestly you can ignore the Barclays analysts - I'm afraid the sp behaving like his indicates short term problems in my view It may well be it recovers in time but this share has been the dog of all dogs for the past 5 years Market sentiment might well change in medium to long term but they have failed beyond believe with acquisitions and explorations - the list is too long
big ut trade 130k shares. close 63.00p. who'da thunk it!
Shares in Ophir Energy (LON:OPHR) were up for a second day as one leading City broker lauded its plans to set up a joint operating company to develop a gas block off Equatorial Guinea. It has signed a deal with OneLNG, a joint venture between Golar LNG and the field services giant Schlumberger, to develop the Fortuna project. Ophir will have keep just over a third, while its partners will have the remainder. First gas is expected in early 2020 and is forecast to generate US$560mln in cash flow a year. The investment required is put at US$2bn, with two-thirds set to be debt financed. Barclays Capital in a note said Ophir is its top pick in the sector. The shares would have to advance 58% to hit the brokers price target of 125p. The stock was up 1% at 79% and has advanced 17% this week. We view the initial share price reaction as warranted, but believe there is scope for further share price outperformance as more details of the joint operating company are disclosed and Fortuna moves from being an innovative concept to becoming a sanctioned and funded development during the first half of 2017, Barclays said in a note to clients.

somethings gone seriously wrong with investment for Fortuna? Lowest position ever, while ENQ & PMO have hardly moved despite their overwhelming debt, any ideas
I ( somehow ) managed to buy ABOVE the 52 week high here and ended up taking a hit...... This seems a decent investment / trade at this price though so good luck - it's back on my radar...... LEK is a similar company ( seems to me to be undervalued - i'm not in and don't even know the sp ) But what is going on with some of these companies ? Answers on a postcard...... GLA :)
i'm back in. bought alot at 75p then sold near 70p d'oh! and dipped my toe back in at 69.37p and bought the rest back today @ prices 64.00 to 64.75p. it'll most likely drop to low 60s now i've bought :( sods law!
Got most out months ago and can't believe how poorly this is doing Just by the slide something has gone wrong with the agreement due this qtr. Hold tight for me sheet to hit the fan
fully agree, have topped up accordingly, don't want to regret it when this finally jumps..
something not right here. SP is now blue. 🤔
I'm looking to exit. Cash burn and poor exploration success.
The BOD have had a lovely 3 years , achieving not a lot for the company , but doing very nicely for themselves , lot's of promises but nothing to give one hope of a turnaround of fortunes here , remember they had 1.3 billion in cash not to long ago , which should have given them lots of opportunities . FID is not far away , looks like major holders are sitting tight.
I was expecting this today.
There have certainly been worse dogs than this Shirley. What about that gkp for starters.
Proved very disapointing this stock.tip i got from ************* GN.i too sold out long time ago 4 very slight gain
Wish I had. I held Salamander and Ophir, imagine...
I'm so glad I sold out here some while back, this must rank as one of the biggest disappointments of all time, and a huge loss for all Salamander holders.
