to look at some of the buys today although the large sell cancelled out the buys , for me encouraged to see the buys today at achl again
even though i still hold hares in achl , do not check share price every day
Be a little careful - this is being pumped by certain people on II and Twitter and rubbished in articles elswhere If you see a decent trade take it yourself and don't get used by others HTTP://www.shareprophets.com/views/7811/china-fraud-zedex-follow-up-asia-distribution-a-blatant-norfolk-that-aim-was-happy-with
Have stayed out of gold but dipped my toe in here with 50k shares today. Research at the weekend seems to show an oversold SP and hoping for a quick rebound to 12p. Lennie
are amongst my least favorite stocks (though I own a little in 5 or 6 still) ...if fiat currencies can weather this crisis (08 to date) then what is the point of gold?
Hmmm....maybe I'll keep this one on my watchlist for a bit longer but still think that it could get a good bounce very soon. Think oil will also turn soon and think NTQ statement next week will be very good - one of those hunches ( had one with SQZ but look at how that turned out this week). Everyone talking about it normally means over the next few weeks we all panic and then in subsequent months it rises. Think we will get the Father Christmas bounce on the oilies though not so sure on the goldies. Lennie
not as confident as I was in ntq @22/3p with decent wti (less confident there now and skeptical about oil service sector in weakening price environment) ...just a hunch...negative EV and loads of hard assets so perhaps cheap but ...a Chinese company (which is scary) & dreadful luck in combination with exquisitely awful execution (don't have any faith in management) ...so perhaps bottom will be somewhere 0-5p lol
Hi Jolly Interesting to see you here as well as NTQ. I was in here back in the 20p days. Sold out and left but keen to revisit. What makes you think that the shares provide good value now? Lennie
oversold given the profits wiped out small rel to change in mcap??
Still falling.Hmmm!!
Down another 4.6% as I write this, a little below the Cenkos forecast. I agree that it should be near the bottom now so possibly attractive on a long-term view?
some will see this drop in share price as an opportunity to top up with more shares at a lower share price , hope those that do soon see share price move up
Liberum downgrades Asian Citrus from its previous generous 20p to a measly 11p. And I thought things could only get better!
i hope that this year achl gets a good bounce , the longer term holders need it , for me i will continue to hold
Speculative buy according to this week's Investors Chronicle. Bad luck with typhoons has played havoc with the share price as they have lost bananas and oranges. Better luck this year then.
Not
Everything that could go wrong did go wrong - anyway, still got cash, a new boss and plans for the future. GL holders
on the 3rd of september , and some good buys today as well sells , looks like some may be building up shares in achl at current share price
see share price starting to tick up again as some uy up the shares at this current price , a buy back by achl may be good to help share price move up further
the worst RNS I've ever read lol, real Armageddon stuff :) And still it's at 12p - I woulda thought 8p off the back of that but hey, wtfdik :)
Hepu already had the hallmarks of a terrible plantation. The Company need to get the other plantations working properly and (here is the difficult bit) avoid wasting too much cash on Hepu / canker issues. If they do that they easily justify the current share price, and it doesn't seem very complicated, but can they be trusted with the new CEO/management team? Anyone got any insights? The writedown today was not material IMV.
Sorry. I hadn't read the RNS. But the outlook for bananas is pretty bleak anyway

36 million write down not very material against net assets of 7.5 billion and the write down of goodwill is in the price given the discount to net asset value. You do have to wonder how they managed to lose all their banana trees though.
A very promising Rns...
