today or this week?
Bounce back to 54-55p Im expecting
oil price is weak today. OPHR doing ok so far.
Bid side looking strong currently ...
Im building a position here before this moves up to a more sensible valuation - current share price is a joke and this is a bargain ...
Nothing would surprise me, Pmo went to something like that when the shorters hit.
is the range i see here. i held and sold and then bought some on friday, i think i will buy some more if it drops. if anything good happens it could go past my range by quite a bit.
Just read a quote on Friday from BMO Capital Markets that sums up what the market thinks of the chances of Fortuna materialising: He questioned the ability to find a funding solution ahead of the expiry of the Block R production sharing contract at the end of this year, giving an estimated 15% chance of the Fortuna project going ahead based on Ophirs share price. The scenarios going forward are: 1. They find a new big hitting partner for Fortuna. (hopefully but Unlikely) 2. They get bought over by a big hitter. (Unlikely) 3. The board start to sell some of the Assets. (Possible) 4. The board wait until Dec then announce that a partner couldn't be found, the share price hits around 20p then they try to rebuild the company from there. (most likely)
No surprise this is down again, absolute disgrace. This will be 20p before management do anything
116K buy just in way over published ask
amazed its at this level myself
This thing would turn Buddha negative.
If this was listed today with current assets, production profile and growth and balance sheet + cash ...I have no doubt would be much higher mkt cap ...fundamentals are very good ...and yes I expect a number of people have eyes on this ready to take some for the rise
I agree. Think we are near the bottom now. Possibly some poised to pounce at the right moment..
This looks way overdone to me - healthy production and balance sheet which is only set to grow - think well see this reverse pretty quick ....hoping a big hitter Is brought to take this company to where it could go ...
Agree. Held on thinking this is overdone however oil at $77 and not even a hint of a bounce. 25k boed forecast this year. Balance sheet not strained. Just a shame this share and management are a total disaster. Has to be one of the worst shares on the lse
There seems to be a lot of optimism on here. I think I may be in a different stock? Going down around 30% in a couple of weeks and it can't even eck out a small rise when the oil is rising today?. This is only going one way until the clowns on the Board bring some sort positive news out. Cooper was hopeless but he was not the only one making the decisions the rest are still there!!!
Taken some - think well see at least a short term bounce
topped up - massively oversold. I missed out on Genel, this share is giving the same signals Genel had in the build up to it multi bagging. Yes its a nightmare and will never get back to its peak, but this is currently priced for complete failure and a sell up of assets on the cheap. That is worst case scenario in my head, good luck all
This share is beyond a joke now. How can this STILL be dropping
Good god this is a dog of a share. Even with oil up and market up this cant even break 50p after a 30% drop, not even a bounce. Absolutely horrible share. Teach me for always being attracted to beaten down stocks!
I was the same, I'm only still in here because of Nick Cooper telling everyone that would listen that it was just about there with the deal!! I was going to sell up and go in to PMO but he came out with, (finance was at advance stage) so I decided to stay put. He should have been shown the door months ago.
stuck since 5 months now, only miracle can save this company and shareholders....
The poor old Salamander investors who have stuck with this must be hurting.
I've been in this stock for years now and it's never stopped going down since I first bought into them!!! The board must start to think about the owners of the company they work for and put a stop to the collapse of the share price. they are the only people with the power to do so.
