Morning Ship mates Well what a shambles all this is turning out to be. I think the captain has to come clean with us if she wants our support. All my dealings are held by HSBC but up to now I haven’t received any communication. Anybody do the same? I want to have a vote if I can.
http://www.reuters.com/article/brief-chesapeake-energy-corp-says-about-idUSFWN1JN05O?feedType=RSS Have we any news on the 10 wells from Continental Resources as this should boost the numbers for the rest of the year. $3.16 average for next year ?.
How many shares are held by the 'keep Rita' lot as opposed by the 'vote in SOS' mob.and is it feasible that Rita's lot could have the majority shares.?
Morning A2 send her an e mail and tell her that we have until 13 the July at 3.30 with HL to register votes ..5 days prior will wait in case I buy more. GLA
My votes are all done with HL you just email them and tell them if we save Rita we all deserve a signed pink hat
Have now managed to get voting complete on my 'other' account (which wasn't previously registered). Have also prompted a colleague who has a reasonable holding... All in about another 1% of the share capital covered.
Houses Quarter 10-7-6XH, 716 BOPD 1702mcf.
With H&L and Halifax you can register your vote over the phone. Mine all done, against the resolutions. I'm in the red corner, make sure you all vote!!!! It's so so simple takes less than 5 mins
Hi Robsky talking to the guys that I have had contact with today they are very aware of the mud slinging and are just hoping that the Vote goes to our Girl. They defiantly seem to want the BOD to stay as is but there is more to this than meets the eye !! It could just be that someone did not get their own way and has spat their dummy out plus thrown all their toys from the pram! No more bully tactics here my friend, it is now down to us the share holder to Vote for those we feel more comfortable with ;-O. Obviously with a hostile shareholder having others do the dirty work anything could happen!!!
Hi GD still here mate just not a lot of time available these days, There is certainly a lot of mud getting slung around by the usual culprit, did you ask frank if he is still monitoring the BB, that would certainly help the BOD understand and respond to the allegations if need be. Good work with the phone no thing, HL still have just shy of 15% when is the latest time to nominate a vote?
Thank you for your email addressed to the Company. I am writing to let you know that Cairn’s telephone number has been updated on the advisers’ section of Magnolia’s website. Thank you for pointing it out. Regarding brokers, as I understand it each will have their own procedures that they follow when it comes to informing shareholders of upcoming corporate actions/events including voting at AGMs/ GMs. I am glad to hear you intend to vote and would suggest you contact your broker to register your intention to cast your votes at the upcoming meetings. Hopefully that will prod them into action. I hope this helps and once again thank you for taking the time to get in touch with the Company. Kind regards Frank SO GET TO IT BOYS & GIRLS Vote Vote Vote
BLIMEY that was quick Correct Number now on MAGP web page 0207 213 0880 for their main office. Where is the reply from our friends from NTOG could they allegedly be sorting out a fraud involving some mineral interests ????? Mr Snead ! Or do they have no answer for our girl Rita ;-D
Afternoon Robsky thought you may have been on your Holidays as you have been quiet! must admit we have been taken over by the lets bash the BOD brigade ;-( . Anyway rightly or wrongly I have put my money on another 1.37mil at 0.0727 this morning so people make sure you vote. I have had to call Cairn this morning as the number on the MAGP is incorrect it should be 020 7213 0885. I have still not had any corporate action notice from share price this is a bit worrying because how many more agents are not notifying the smaller shareholder! as the saying goes every little helps. Rita come on girl lets kick ass and show them who is BOSS.
I would suggest that the 0.068 was the sell responsible for the drop and the rest buys @ 0.07 and above but WTFDIK.
Smidsy do a dummy and you will get a better idea and come back and tell us lol
11 million traded on NEX. Were they buys or Sells as they all were pretty close to the mid point.
Rumour #1 - Family Members on the Payroll: First of all let me say that Rita never hired any employees at MAGP. Steve was CEO for 9 years and that was his task. Steve interviewed, negotiated salaries, offered jobs, and submitted prospective employees to the board. I believe that the minutes can even be reviewed. All employees of MAGP were highly qualified and recommended in their fields and had been in the business multiple years before gaining employment with MAGP. If there ever was a conflict, the board voted and Rita abstained. In addition, family members are declared every year at the audit. It is very ironic that they are accusing her of hiring family members when that is the farthest from the truth. The truth is Rita's family is very active and successful participants in the oil and gas business. Where do you think we got it from?
That's an excellent post dkw.
I suspect like most LTH, I am trying to keep an open mind on this. RFW stands accused of nepotism. I note she took control post the SOS resignation 01/04/2017 and promoted Mr Norman, apparently her son-in-law to CFO. I presume this would require approval by the Independent Directors. In the same vein, once aware of the attentions of Messrs Snead and NTOG she whisked up a new Service Contract giving her a much longer Notice Period than she previously enjoyed. Again, I presume, this would require approval by the Remuneration Committee to have any validity. We then learn in somewhat oblique allegations that she may have colluded with her brother to short-change the estate of one of his clients. This is where "airing dirty-laundry" may well get very serious for all involved as obviously Mr Hunt will operate under the rules and ethics of the Oklahoma Bar Association. If Mr Hunt has transgressed he will face sanction; equally, if he has not I am sure he will seek redress from those making such serious allegations. I will say, this smacks of one political party blaming the other and completely ignoring the issue that shareholders really care about. In short, what are you plans for the future of Magnolia Petroleum? NTOG, presumably in league with SOS, have said precious little about that preferring to release a string of accusations that Private Investors will find difficult if not impossible to evidence one way or another. Whilst I am not surprised RFW has decided to defend herself, again I would like to see less about how we got into this mess and more about how we are going to get out of it.
Dead in the water. The NOMAD might say it is her or us. If the NOMAD resigns it is not a good situation.
5m sell on nex caused the drop
Okenia -as you say, 'arguably'. I'm just not interested in anything share prophets have to say, based on prior experience. Simple as that but I'm happy with my position. I hope you're happy with yours.
I don't need to discredit Rita as she is doing a mighty fine job herself! Caught with her fingers in the till imo!
I am a long suffering LTH like many here, luckily with only a small holding, but still not liking what I am hearing about RITA and her clan.I doubt TW would be coming out with this stuff without doing his research, sorry but I agree with okenia until they can convince me otherwise.
"Hot air" - really? They've made very material accusations against RW. Employing her son-in-law. Writing a new SC after the GM requisition in order to walk away with a chunk of MAGP's cash if she's sacked. Personally flipping an asset that should arguably have been offered to MAGP. The business ethics of her brother the lawyer acting for the estate that sold her the asset at what was subsequently proven to be firesale values. These aren't hot air, they're tangible and very serious allegations. Time got MAGP to rebutt them if they are false.
