From the XTR RNS: "..SilverKing distinguished by HIGH-GRADE ---SUPERGENE enrichment, diagnostic of the nearby KITUMBA deposit. Historic Silverking drill intercepts inc 50m @5.47% cu from 55m to 105m depth. Peaked at 52.2% cu over 1m."
Colin Bird: "Excited about a future discovery." GLENCORE did "soil geochem, ground IP and geophysical surveys and both diamond and RC drilling were done. Japanese and Zambian govts did a combined study in the mid- 1980's reflected the presence of HIGH GRADE CU MINERALISATION and the recognition that the region may hold LARGE COPPER DEPOSITS."
Comment: Extremely hard to get such a ready project. Why the Glencore work alone would have cost any co a lot of money to conduct as norm. SHALLOW DEPOSIT with SUPERGENE -the perfect combo it would appear. Also, KITUMBA mineralisation next door is of interest as SilverKing is adjacent. Low bulk tonnage plus high grade breccia piples.
GLENCORE had commissioned an IN-HOUSE 2012 JORC of 268,971 tonnes at 2.7% cu at 0.5% CUT OFF for the main SilverKing breccia pipe only. MAYBE, THIS NON-COMPLIANT JORC can be upgraded? Not sure but CB will know.
DYOR. NIA. XTR MKT CAP TODAY £8.5M vs Manica gold project sold for US$15m. Bushranger also on sale list. XTR West Forelands is a much greenfield but Silverking is a ready project.
Unless you were told the above who don't no it to be the case. Unless they are CB's words! 🤔
Or billy I actually bother to read and note these important points from what is already in the public domain through RNS
Did think - “Back the 50D MA figure”.was the 5hittest attempt to ramp the bejeezers out of it jez that was more like it 👍😆
"Tons of exciting news due to drive MC up and onward as well as raise the profile to the market as xtr can get the jump on other companies with projects lying static due to unavailability of funding to progress them."
Unless you were told the above who don't no it to be the case. Unless they are CB's words!
"The bird had no idea as he wouldn't have sold it for a measly $15m"
Your best contibution yet!!! I can actually understand it.
Now I wonder what the price of gold is at the moment!
Go Colin !
Go Colin !
Go Birdy !
Go Birdy !
10p soon
With bow around it !
Good old Birdy.
I always said he was a genius.
If this latest acquisition is the final piece in the portfolio jigsaw for ‘24 following the disposal of the Moz gold mine and importantly confirmation of the amount Xtr will be receiving up to 2027 with the staged buy out payments, circa $15m over that time.
Xtr can now fully plan to allocate expenditure toward its projects to advance them further through its own treasury funds.
BR could see a final drill campaign to add resource to the Nw at Racecourse by continuing to follow the high-grade plunging zone of the mineralisation and hopefully
test the IP Chargeability/Resistivity anomaly 500m west of Ascot. Could be dependent on outcome of optimisation toward a desirable IRR and NPV. If xtr can push the project further up the value curve without big expense then that is what they will do.
Kakuyu could see a mining operation start to bring in some funds to contribute toward a larger exploration programme as unlike the other Zambian licences the deposit type and mineralisation mechanisms are not clear enough from initial work that’s been done at Kakuyu, so the plan is to to understand further the type of deposit and mineralisation potential there as it has the potential to be far larger than first thought which can justify its own process plant.
Other recent Zambian licences are about to have drilling commence after the rainy season ends anytime now.
Tons of exciting news due to drive MC up and onward as well as raise the profile to the market as xtr can get the jump on other companies with projects lying static due to unavailability of funding to progress them.
But I'll go one further
Ya know the real business model came up trumps with the likes of Stockopedia only that The bird had no idea as he wouldn't have sold it for a measly $15m❓
look ntm
just because you had a topple with copl
no need to spout i give phoney analysis as the analysis is based on what came from birds mouth multiple times.
you ****
yours cruelly
I went a smidgeon further than that earlier Mr Bals .. but we’re very much in the same ballpark ..
Again, this is worth at least 1 Egyptian pound a share imho
Starting to get interesting with the RNS today.
I don’t want go all rampy but surely the bottom is in now.
Has to be worth about 1.5p on staggered cash payments + assets today.
If I get chance to buy a final lot below 1p I’ll take it up
If I don’t happy days anyway
Is this the first step towards a very good year for all

Shows a lot are "hungry"? As in watching?
Good speak Mr Zap... good speak
Hey NtM I would argue all day that current share prices across all of, not only bird companies, but the whole resource sector in the midst of a global economic 5hitstorm have no relevance to true values of project portfolios that companies hold, there is a clear disconnect apparent now and has been proven historically in the midst of previous downturns to be the norm. So as for a benchmark I would counter by saying it does not speak for itself.
Historically though, through downturns, copper inventories have always built up, but the difference this time round is that with overwhelming supply headwinds that is not going to happen and so the expected demands will very soon far outweigh supply pushing copper to unprecedented highs. There is a far bigger picture in play to be excited about. This is why the company is positioning itself now to benefit later.
This 🍋 price will be s%! t even if CB announced he has found the mythical Philosopher Stone
digging in the Zambian bush.
There are more than a few out there that agree with ''Birdie is a waste of time as are all of his minnow largely African-based exploration companies'' Mr Art... BUT
Mr Zap and Mr OSV are not among those more than a few, clearly...
Me, I used be undecided.... now I'm not quite sure..
While I do 'ave a soft spot for the 'ave a go 'ero that is the one and only Mr Colin Bird; the s/p is the benchmark.. and Mr Bird's Co's share prices speak for themselves.
Back the 50D MA figure.
Ah, ART has arrived and he wants to buy, hence hoping for 0.85p as if the XTR RNS of today had NOT been released.
SILVER KING , Zambia is a over ready project and has been DE-RISKED by the work done by Glencore etc and holes drilled.
HOW CAN XTR BE WORTH 0 given MKT CAP £8.5m @1.05p vs XTR MANICA SOLD FOR US$15M?
Not to worry, C.Bird is a person full of surprises. Never know what he will do with Bushrangers and one will wake up one morning to potential news or to the XTR ZAMBIA LICENCE which Lemon could have given to others since it is hot exploration property. I think Lemon said in the interview that there are lots of interest to buy but they went along with XTR CB whom they knew. True , isnt it? A ready oven project just given to XTR on a plate by Lemon ---HIGH GREADE COPPER GOING INTO COPPER DEFICIT GLOBALLY and de-risked with so much geo work already done and to boot from GLENCORE. What more can one ask and 500MT -------THAT IS NOT A TINY PROJECT. Why? Minimum a TIER 2. And Tier 2 is in demand as it could be more with drilling, exploration etc.
COLIN BIRD IS NOT A CEO THAT WILL NOT SELL any project provided the price is fair. And fair is mkt value, hence why C.B leaves the rest for the major etc to drill to get more out of it. Kalumbila proves it. First Quantum has improved further on Kalumbila and a big mine in Zambia, courtesy of C.Bird. 3.4.24. DYOR. NIA.
But then I am excited really because as soon as they drill any of these copper prospects, and subject to XTR hitting zillions of metres of super-high grade copper, I can use the rise in the share price to get the hell out of this share for good. Birdie is a waste of time as are all of his minnow largely African-based exploration companies.
18months or $500k whatever comes first if to fast track Art. Agree it’s not particularly exciting but is a good project with a good buy in deal.
On completion of the earn in period, or as such other time as Xtract has spent US$500,000, Xtract may then advise Cooperlemon of its intention to increase its interest in the Licence to 70% by agreeing to spend a further US$1,000,000
If the sales complete why’s it not factored into mcap
Yawn, yawn, yawn.........
'Xtract has an option period of 18 months to earn an initial 51% in the Licence provided Xtract spends US$500,000 in exploration over the period.'
18 months, blimey, what's the excitement?
No…. Why would xtr need to raise funds was my question.
Art have you even bothered to read the leading paragraph on the company website to just have the most primitive understanding of what it is an investor is buying into and more importantly why the company has this strategy?
No it’s not going to happen overnight
XTR MANICA SOLD FOR US$15M:
In my view, selling a gold project for US$15m is no mean feat especially in Momz. at this time. Barrick sold a Kenyan gold deposit of just a little over 1moz for $13m. So, a feather in C.B's cap and FACT. Loads of AIM co holders grumbling about having to raise money for drilling and that includes the Anglo JV partner in the UK listed co.
BUSHRANGERS, Australia:
Despite a Expert coming to look at Bushranger and potential of gold, given the geology, it had NOT materialised where XTR drilled to any extent. That is something no one could foresee. Many of us did NOT know why CB did not want to drill further to look for other deposits to increase the tonnage or higher grades inc gold. Bob told us why. CB said it would need $8m to drill. From CB's style, he delineates a CERTAIN SIZE and as he said he leaves the rest to the buyer. That was true with KALUMBILA sold by Mr Bird [C.B] for some US$245m to First Quantum.
SILVER KING, ZAMIBA
This is C.B turf given Kalumbila was also in Zambia. Since it has now been post the target is 500Mt, that is 1/2 a Tier 1 size and given the spend, it may be then left up to any potential buyer what they want done. SO, ANOTHER SALE PROJECT as Mr Bird does SALE OF PROJECT quite well. For Bushrangers, he said it was a "ACE" and that "it WILL BE A MINE" so potentially to be sold.?
MKT CAP £8M+ vs US$15m Manica sale with today's news on the Silver King JV with Lemon. 3.4.24.
