of 5.5mio is just a bargain and we all know it. The new board has only been in place a couple of months but we can clearly see that they know exactly what they are doing to re-rate OTC. The upside is Incredible from this MCAP. In addition, as chartists pointed out today, typical bottoming process coming to an end in an inverted head and shoulder chart where a close above the 200dd at 3.09 will make this will fly. I think I'll sit back and relax.
13 m share being traded today that is about 0.5m money. some day-traders burnt their fingers today. they bought on spike and sold at the end of the day. tomorrow is likely to start the uphill climb again till people change mode and hold for longer term rewards. good result in general and confirm the extended resources. keep your cool.
Churn today, and nice to see some new names! Flippers can only sell once! Good riddance
Puzzling buy 3.15p @ 1635?
Dont worry well have another one of these in 6 months.unbelievable. And people still talking about overhangs and all that nonsense .its been like this for 9 long years and not a thing has changed..thank god I sold 50% of these just before Xmas and 60% up in my new trade. GLA
mm's turning blue
I don't give a monky's what the MMs do with the sp short term here, as I believe this share is an MMs dream come true. What I am more interested in is the "sub text" from statements proving to me that i am right to hold longterm. Todays RNS report said "Ortac also said that assay results from two new holes on the Akyanga project, drilled towards the outer perimeter of a conceptualised pit in an area where there is sparse drilling data, show a high consistency of grade in excess of 2 grams per tonne" My translation is that" we believe the deposit is different to what was first thought and our attempt to find it's extent has failed as it is wider and richer than we thought" ,IF TRUE and as they say the historical data review will be released shortly, then it will absolutely smash forecasts.GLA
That didn't take long. Meanwhile carry on talking yourselves into a frenzy folks!
We actually can,and we just did this morning,BUT overhang of shares means we can not hold over 3p for the time being.....YET, the next RNS will take us much higher,IMHO.

joke of a share price,we just can't get past 3p..
Yeh, still reeling over the chance i missed with sqz, was holding them at 9p and now it's 85p odd. Held it for a year and not much movement though but still made a decent amount. This baby's being held firm.
definitely not a trader for me .NVS has shown that he likes to be in control of his projects and I believe he will want to do the same @Zamsort.Nothing in AIM ever goes completely smoothly.but this has many positive potential sp builders.
Who cares as long as the cracking rns keep coming, just a matter of time
jollygoodya - agree with your thinking which is mine as well. This is certainly not a short term punt. Patience needed here. The potential is obvious and i'll be holding for most of 2018 or as long as it takes. Personally 7/8p would be lovely but I really have no idea of the sp potential and i might revise that as time goes on. Mcap still very small
Eyeguy/Dshox, seeing this as a long term hold with add on dips approach. Changed tack this year with my P/f. Mixture of long-term/short term on some. Keeping some aside for risky punts too.
Thanks for the reply. This looks like a decent company turning their fortunes round. I didn't expect the drop to current prices and didn't want to add any further with limited funds. 7-8p here will set me on a good path to recover total losses. ATB
If you are talking about Casa holders we are not selling. For a start we are locked in. But more importantly those of us who invested in Casa two years ago are looking at much bigger gains before we sell out!!
Happy with my pf and Im looking at 2018 rather than what this is next week. 2018 should be good here
RNS RNS Number : 2740B Ortac Resources Limited 09 January 2018 Ortac Resources Ltd / Epic: OTC / Market: AIM / Sector: Mining & Exploration 9 January 2018 ORTAC RESOURCES LTD ("ORTAC" or the "COMPANY") Casa Update; further significant gold mineralisation at Akyanga Since announcing the acquisition of Casa Mining Limited ("Casa") in November 2017, the management of Ortac has been actively working to complete the acquisition and integration of Casa. To date Ortac owns 87.4% of Casa and expects the acquisition to be completed shortly. As part of the integration with Casa, Ortac management have completed a number of meetings as well as an extensive site visit - in this regard Ortac has also been completing a review of historical drilling data at Casa which includes over 100 holes of exploration drilling predominantly at the Akyanga license area (which has a JORC Mineral Resource of 1.5m ounces @1.65 g/t Au) ("Akyanga"). The results of these will be announced within the next month. In the meantime, Ortac is pleased to report further significant new gold assay results taken from the expansion and infill drill programme currently underway at Akyanga. Highlights of the latest batch of drill results are as follows: MSDD0117 4.55m @ 3.15 g/t Au from 189.45m 6.70m @ 2.01 g/t Au from 209.80m MSDD0118 5.85m @ 2.47 g/t Au from 199.40m 7.80m @ 2.67 g/t Au from 240.70m; incl. 1.70m @ 10.46 g/t Au from 240.70m Nick von Schirnding, Ortac's Executive Chairman, commented: "With over 3,300 meters drilled in 2017, these are again a pleasing set of results, this time from the outer perimeter of our drilling programme at Akyanga - with good consistency of grade well above 2 g/t Au. Both 117 and 118 show good zones of mineable thickness and previous drilling results within 100 metres of hole 118 show 18 metres of 4.63 g/t. We are now evaluating the possibility of expanding certain conceptualised pits - with all the economic advantages that scale brings. We look forward to updating the market going forward as we continue work on this very exciting deposit." Results of diamond core drilling The results of these two diamond core holes for which assays have been received from SGS Laboratory Services in Mwanza, Tanzania are tabulated below. The results are reported for mineralized intersections greater than 3 meters in length, greater than 0.5 g/t Au in grade and allowing for up to 3 meters of internal dilution. Table 1. Sooner or later, the DRC project would be valued at £100m+. It would either be put for sale through bidding war or bought to production from various source of funding. That region near South Kivu is one of the richest gold mining region in Africa.
Ngee, agree solid progress and commodity prices will rise especially gold..
Is the average and bail out of around 7-8p being my target. Good progress being made here
Tried to top up at 2.82 got nowhere for ages. Gave up. Still have a higher average. Not concerned. This should easily be 3.5p by now and go 100% maybe.
And Im back in profit.
