Post recommended Fulmar. I must admit I plonked all my gains into Hummingbird but I definitely want to be back in HM by year-end.
with GDXJ/share buy back and general realization of SSL forthcoming and future streams I believe this will have increased at least 20% by year end and as Marl assets are sold/realized and the cash used for further buy backs /investments this will carry on rising until EBITA at least 6 to 8 times
Agreed with that, SGD27. One slightly frustrating thing is that I had been hoping to see the MARL/HM upside realised around now. As it is, I imagine we will have to sit tight on the SAND shares for at least another 1-2 years for the full value to be unlocked. But the promise of guaranteed exploitation, a considerable exploration upside potential, and a dividend stream coming online all promise to make this another exciting - if somewhat more protracted - adventure! Now that he's 'ungagged', Nolan seems to be catching up with publicity with a vengeance. This is a much longer and more in-depth interview, well worth a listen IMHO : https://youtu.be/jALbZF7zKcE I'm feeling pretty happy to be part of this, and now even wondering whether to use the cash component of the deal to buy more SSL!
so now we are told HM may have been sold for a quarter of market price salt/wound https://youtu.be/JCoWN6ljvlo and that is just what HM is showing at the moment--sleep well Glen !
to Q+A at the moment and it seems we would have had nil Capex as money is only due at year end which would have been self financing
With SAND trading at 3.87c that makes MARL worth almost 106p.....
HL have said that cash and shares will be in my account on or around 13th July....
Anyone got their Sandstorm shares yet?
SAND's PR is so so much better than that of Mariana - a good start from them - lets see this reflected in the SP.
From my post of 27June: My guess FWIW: I can't help feeling that there will soon be some positive news coming out from Hot Maden which SAND will have been holding off until after the merge is completed... they will need to prove to their shareholders that this will be a good deal for them. Now we start to see this with the burst of videos that Terrafin has recently posted. Here is another, from 5 July, and well worth listening to. It's by SAND's geologist, and gives their analysis of the exploration upside of HM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tkEkFjNIGA there are all sorts of upbeat statements all the way through, including this early on: "we don't understand how big it is yet, but everything we have so far suggests it could get very very large". More details are given towards the end. Happy listening. Cordially Lionel
I watched the latest q+a session last night posted underneath by terrafin which I think sums up why it was a "stitch up",there is nothing that NW is saying that wasn't knowledge before .No real capex needed /4 x SSL ebita which would have translated into a massive multiplication of Marl.BUT----we are where we are and looking at the scenario separately to my previous bitter misgivings,I am pleased to have stayed because a doubling or trippling of my already decent gain is not to be sniffed at.NW seems quite switched on and they tell me in Canada he is straight, but I am afraid with my experience of GP,I could never trust another CEO as long as I have a hole in my aperture .C'mon Ergama.!
SANDSTORM GOLD NOLAN WATSON https://youtu.be/jKkwgZWpAYA
Thanks for your posts Terrafin. After watching the video I am left with an overwhelming feeling that SAND consider they got a bargain! The comment something like (paraphrasing) "where else can you double production for only 19% dilution" says it all IMO. Glen, you sold us out too cheaply! I am certainly happy to hold SAND or rather, in my case SSL, albeit reduced from my peak MARL holding.
— Hot Maden Drill Results - 5th July Update The Hot Maden assay results have been reported from two drill holes. HTD–111 is a step-out core hole drilled along the southwest side of the southern zone and HTD-128 is an infill core hole drilled within the Main Zone. Highlights from these drill results include: HTD-111: 26.0 meters @ 4.4 g/t gold and 0.57% copper HTD-128: 105.5 meters @ 17.4 g/t gold and 2.34% copper As of July 3, 2017, the total amount of drilling for the year stood at 14,286 metres completed in 40 holes, with three additional holes in progress. Also in these results was 15m at 68g/t gold !!
This is very good spot, Terrafin, thanks for positing. Both videos repeat, over and over, what a transformational deal this is for SAND. From the first video, SAND CEO states that there will be lots of drilling results forthcoming, with a "drill update press release expected in the next week". Later he states that they will be starting a share buy-back program which will run over the next 6-9 months. From the second video, here are some quotes referring to Hot Maden "where have you ever seen this in the mining industry"... "most due diligence ever done in SAND"... "the metallurgy report stated that this is one of the best undeveloped mines in the world"... "this is one of those deals that is very special in the industry" Excellent development. I'm holding. cordially Lionel
Posted on one of the Canadian boards: Look how smug SAND look in these - they know this is going to be very big .. :) http://www.bnn.ca/commodities/video/sandstorm-gold-ceo-on-potential-turkey-streaming-asset~1160346 http://www.sandstormgold.com/hot-maden-acquisition/
Hi motion, sorry I didn't pick up on your message at the other place, been really busy. You are right to recommend pretium though. They are within a hairs breadth of commercial production having already announced their first gold pour. The proven grades are already high but some of their drill intercepts in the exploration zone are Off The Scale. No wonder they arranged a flow through credit arrangement to follow up on those. 100% owned by Pretium it makes me want to sell all my holdings everywhere and put them in PVG. https://www.slideshare.net/PretiumR/pretium-rbcmetalspresentationjune132017web
Very much agreed, Terrafin. We must also be expecting that GP will be held on a pretty tight rein! Cordially Lionel
Indeed - I have a feeling that SAND SP will continue to rise over the coming months - looking forward to news updates and the PFS towards the end of the yr - of course that's if the stick to their plan which can't always be said of GP !
Yesterday's SAND close at 3.84 US$ corresponds to a MARL valuation (following the merger offer terms) of 104.98p. Cordially Lionel
not a chatroom but look at pretium in canada
PS a nice case of red wine always welcome! :)
