I just don't get the purpose of that RNS.
It would be great to see 'appointment on Nomad' in an RNS - but all is not lost - yet!
Rns out but not showing here - only states that the loan note conversion issued on 16 th April has not been completed due to Cairns resignation. I have a feeling next week is going to be a good one - no facts to back that up but just a feeling !!!
.07 is what I bought in at. Hopefully a new nomad and re list and I think its worth a punt. Don't think they would get to that point without something in the offing
And therein lies the dilemma. On assets and shell value it is worth around 0.07. So you would.expect to to open higher due to the potential for other contracts. eceipt of the 300k increases the breakup value to around 0.11 on the value of the contract alone, however, receipt would lend credibility to the Canadian business and actually see the closer to 0.2 in anticipation of additional deals. So in answer to your question, the downside is limited and the price you buy in at depends on how confident you are on additional deals and completion of those previously announced.
Lets say this re lists at 0.10 , do I buy more or wait for news of contracts?
50/50 at the moment which way this is going to go. NOMAD APPOINTMENT - .10 opening sp NO NOMAD - We have lost everything
I make it over 2.5 but what's a few days?
to find a nomad.
After meeting Ivan the other day I can assure you that he hasn't given up and is determined to make the company a success. I am confident a broker will be found soon and that we will resume trading on AIM TW does have a lot to answer for though as the timing of his 'revelations' were very fortuitous on his behalf.
4k a month each and some share options (don't know how many) at 0.1p was my understanding
Does anyone have any details about the contracts and options for Ivan & Barry as have been unable to access the shareholders section of the inc website?
Hope you guys get some of your money back. Got a feeling we were all played for fools last year. I got out just before suspension even though holding were mainly freebies. The fact there has been no update re Broker search, apart from hearsay and no response to TWs wittering (after he pumped the stock earlier in the year I may add) is more of a concern, I think the BOD have already given up if I am honest. Really hope I am wrong as I know a few trapped in here with big sums.
I think this is a 'Nobody knows' answer. Getting a new Nomad would certainly increase confidence that the company has a future. Confirmation that the money announced last year is in the bank is the only real hope imo. The Nomad issue in my mind is very unclear - there have been contradictory views on here putting the blame for the relationship breakdown on Cairn or the Board. Cairn were prepared to stay on longer while a new one was found but left abruptly when the EGM notice was issued without discussion. Was it the last straw, was it lack of knowledge on the part of the board? Not all the facts are known yet in my view. Hoping for a successful outcome for all of us.
Stereo answers :)
It'll do what it always does at the opening of a market - the MMs set the price. Could be 1p. Could be 0.01p. It's up to them, they are called market makers for a reason. There's no requirement for them to open at the suspension price, if that is what you are thinking
The MM's will decide based on supply and demand. But await a nomad first the clocks ticking
Assuming a nomad is found and we resist shortly will the SP come back at the same point it went out or is it calculated differently ?? - all opinions welcome ...
Thanks music, I think we'll get some good news before too long!
It was some years ago - I think I got a letter from my broker (Barclays) asking if I wanted to sell. I could keep the shares but there was no guarantee of divis and selling later might be a problem. How they calculated the price - who knows? I was glad to retrieve anything form the wreckage
That's very interesting music. In the instance where the shares were bought back how did they work out the price?
I've had 3 aim shares delisted with differing results 1 I lost everything 1 bought back their shares and the 3rd is still operating. The cost of aim listing is significant for such small companies. Comforting to see the positive views expressed on here but there must be a question mark over the competence and experience of the board. I'm not a complete loser! I have 15 other shares in positive territory. I had high hopes of this one. I hope we all do well.
Thanks Miller, I have not managed to get through to Cairn but when I texted Ivan he came back to me a few minutes later. Let's see what happens in the next couple of weeks.
In a few months we will hopefully look back on this and decide that it was for the best if the new NOMAD is able to add some value to our operations. Albeit it's a big if!
I think that the fact that they have limited experience with a listed company showed the support they needed, and didn't receive from Cairn. They need a NOMAD that will give them the help and support they need and I imagine they are taking the time to find one that will support them. This will come at a cost and I imagine this is the balancing act that they are currently facing. Given that Ivan has only just come back into the country I imagine that some of the DD has been waiting for his return, which would explain why it hasn't yet been completed. There was nothing controversial proposed for the EGM, to me it looked as if they were trying to be open and honest, which to my mind they were base on their responses
