SP climbing for the last couple of hours, now up almost 8% on over 10x UK trade volume. Perhaps to do with the tiny bid/offer spread, but comforting to say the least. Have a nice weekend everyone (well, nearly everyone).
Half price Christmas tree had the bleddy top missin'. Lol.
Sooz, I already know how I did. I just tried to buy as many of my entitlement shares as I could. You, however, have gone maximum overdrive on both entitlements, lol, as well as inadvertently applying for extra shares on top, but you are only really waiting to see how many, hopefully all, of the additional/extra shares you'll receive. Those that were not forming part of your entitlement(s). Ok, but yes, it is still exciting. Lol.
I have a feeling you'll get all shares that you asked for. X
Eric...I waited forty minutes in the PO queue on Wednesday afternoon and I'd already done 25 minutes in the morning. But I did manage to pick up a half price Christmas tree.
Eric...Glad you went for them that what I like nice and neat...yes must've forgotten to press the confirm button, fate. And it's a bit exciting, can't wait to see how we did. ;-)
Afty x
I'm not surprised you are weary, it's hard work wrapping and sending parcels, and taking up the Offer. I'm pretty tired out. Wrapped a present up for next door neighbour. Three attempts at delivery. Been raining each time, pouring down solid now for days. Their house has no porch, front door always locked, parcel just a little too big for their letter box (and only a nutcase would nip and measure it with a tape measure before buying the present, lol), no reply to the bing-bong either, so I finally left the parcel outside the front door, but had to wrap it up in a green garden waste bag, it's all I had that was waterproof. I then had to leave a note attached to the bag (sellotape covered to prevent the note from getting absolutely soaked) so that they wouldn't think some oik had simply popped along and left a bag of compost in their driveway.
Inside the bag, the present is wrapped up all lovely in sparkly silver paper with snowflakes on, a little silver booklet label attached with silver twine.
All this for a box of Milk Tray. If they don't like it they can sod off. Lol.

Glad if I've helped then Sooz. At least you are guaranteed two full Offer entitlements, having taken up your full whacks on both, certs/non-certs. As for the extra electronically held shares that you applied for, when you edited to remove them, you might not have hit the "Confirm" button. Never mind, I'm thinking it was fate, lol. Also, 3.16p, I reckon it's a good price and we know that BEM will receive all monies.
I checked my order twice, double confirmed to make sure. An OCD special. Then on deadline day I was still twitching, wondering whether to buy a few more if I could, so I did. Only a few, what I could afford. I found enough piggy bank money for another 2,500 shares. £79, so I bunged it in. Lol.
Now the overall holdings figure is nice and neat and it's easier to work things out. We only need something super to happen now.
Good luck. xx
I can't agree with that Al. He is totally different.
Yes, it does help Eric...I've been a bit distracted these few days with Christmas issues, nearest and dearest who will be far, far away at Christmas ..thought I'd send a few parcels. I took all my options in my ISA and Certificates plus a few more to round up and although I backtracked on the ISA when I chose Plan B (send in a cheque) I notice the ISA ignored my 'edit' on Extras so I might be getting a lot more than I bargained for. Doesn't matter...in for a penny in for a pound. I'm feeling weary now I must admit. Lol.
Eric he’s no different to lbjj ,
My cash has gone as from the ISA as well, it went two days ago, but next to the Offer shares it shows zero as value because I suppose they haven't been issued yet. 22nd is when they should hit. If you've taken up your full entitlement in each case, as in, with both your certificated and electronically held shares, you'll get everything that you were entitled to. If you have applied for additional shares, you may get them. If not, the money for those, or if you get some, the money for those additional shares that you don't get, will be returned to you.
Not sure what you ended up doing, as I know you wanted it all in the ISA.
As it stands, I have £2.50 left in cash in my ISA, yet no tears, lol, and I think when the shares hit the market, I'm hoping that all of the shares that I took up go into one pot with my existing shares. As it stands, the Offer shares are obviously noted separately from your existing shares aren't they, and I don't like it. Lol.
Even worse, not taking up all of the Offer shares, some of 'em will disappear again from the account. Ha ha, blimey, let's hope they forget and leave them all there. Shush!
Sorry, I have probably been of no help, and you hadn't even asked me the question. Lol.
Afty. x
Just checked and my electronic deal has gone through and my cheque payed in...do we have a few days now to wait to see how many we got?
Aye John, he is just continually badmouthing his supposed £9k investment here. Bit bonkers that, if he's invested. He seems to be wishing that it fails completely rather than selling to claw some money back.
Odd behaviour.
Fin 1 he does the same on the ALTN site and is just as much hated ,I have him on filter ,makes my life much happier,
And for hogdog's benefit, that was not a ramp!
All we can do is keep reporting his abusive, sad posts and hope he gets a permanent ban.
As I said the other day, there is no way on this earth that the blithering idiot hogdog is a shareholder in BEM.
If he were he would not come on here with his very badly worded profanities, insulting and laughing at genuine holders for being under in this share.
A thoroughly dislikeable and loathesome character who has no place on a bulletin board. I just wish Admin would grow a pair and finally get rid of him. Merry Christmas all (except of course to hogdog)
FIN1 - The LSE filter has been a blessing...I don't even take the filter off to see what he's been saying. It's fantastic not reading his dribble. I'm sure he will be committed sooner rather than later GLA
You would think if he actually believed his own garbage, he would sell up and get out while he could still rescue some cash.Assuming he is a shareholder of course.Ho Ho Ho Ho!
Dear Busted Hotdog, Obviously the creche is in lockdown so you have been allowed on the computer again. You are always on here jibbering about how much you hate this share, please if you want someone to talk to about where the bad share touched you look elsewhere as it is a bit sad to keep filling up the chat with your random rants.
Happy Christmas
Suzy the money for the share placing has been taken from my account and I have the full amount, now let’s look forward to a blue future,
Morning. greentea1, it shouldn’t take long, as KB’s letter to the Swedish Government makes clear to all involved, it is the principal of a mine only, at Kallak that is being considered at this time. We wouldn’t want anyone trying to muddy the waters with our proposals now, would we (transport etc). KB is not asleep at the wheel (yesterday’s RNS), we have too many conniving xxxxx’s, who have other ideas about Kallaks future. Imo only. atb
Geovanni good luck with your investment ,I bought GGP and SHA very cheaply a long time ago and the paper profit I’ve made is mine blowing, I am now stock building in GUN, which is also on the up , this will come right one day but at 82years old I hope I will still be here, keep smiling,
I thought Mr Hjalmered undertook the conflict in a very decisive manner and with some very descriptive hand gestures. As I've already said, there's a lot more to communication than mere words. And the empty seats are not to be taken as general disinterest as you've implied... it's called social distancing, the Swedes are beginning to get it.
