lovely summary mate. as soon as my SIPP money comes through im gonna pick up quite a bit more of this. cheap as soggy chips
This will rise very strongly by the November Q2 results as this enormous order book starts to be invoiced. So a doubling within 9-12 months is extremely likely. The massive Burger King deal , starting next summer, will lead to very large US merchandising royalties by Christmas 2013 and so I think that we will get a further doubling in share price within a another year or so. Bargains like this are rare imho.
need to recruit a few from PFD they are taking a beating over there
It`s strange how this share seems to fly under the radar - so much going on and not a drop of bad news in sight yet no sp movement. One day soon the market will wake up and we`ll be off to the races. I think all the recent sells are due to impatience and boy do we need to be patient. Love the share, love the business model and certain to be a very bright future, ATB
I noticed that Seymour Pierce were reviewing their forecasts, and per Hemscott they now have these new forecasts out dated 3rd September: this year - 10.77p EPS next year - 14.54p EPS You'd have to think that SP would have talked to management before issuing these new forecasts. Pretty impressive stuff.
...for Mr seller to show his face again. Is he there? Au
Excellent news re the Jungle Book master toy licence below. Perhaps we'll get another RNS for this? Look at all those licensees for Jungle Book products, amazing. Even if the film itself merely breaks even I can imagine the merchandising will be massive. Interesting also that the Burger King deal is for 3 years - quite a show of confidence from Burger King. It didn't say this in the original RNS: http://kidscreen.com/2012/09/24/smc-makes-the-jungle-book-master-toy-deal/ "SMC makes The Jungle Book master toy deal 11 hours ago by Jeremy Dickson California-based SMC Entertainment has named Sun-Mate Corporation as the master toy licensee in North America, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa for 3D-animated series The Jungle Book. The deal will see Sun-Mate hold design, manufacturing and distribution rights to a line of The Jungle Book toys including action figures, figures and play sets, collectibles, watches, adventure toys, youth electronics, walkie talkies and novelty toys. The appointment comes on the heels of SMC and DQ Entertainment International securing a three-year global promotional partnership with Burger King that features TV and in-store advertising and a text mobile campaign beginning in summer 2013. The Jungle Book currently airs on Disney XD in the US and a feature film based on the IP was recently green lit by DQ Entertainment Ireland (DQE). Additional licensees already on board The Jungle Book consumer products program include Phase 4 Films (home entertainment), Isaac Morris (master apparel), Komar (sleepwear and robes), Seasons USA (costumes and Halloween accessories), Nanco–Nancy Sales Company (amusement/crane machine plush), Insight Editions (publishing), and The United States Playing Card Company (traditional playing cards).""
Next interim announcement 14/11/12 Just over 6 weeks for next good news- should see the share start to move in 3 to 4 weeks from now.
Sounds like a very relaxing weekend, am jealous mate! Do we have exact date yet for results? Guessing end November. Yup may as well av down as much as poss here while we can. Am still juggling with what to do re OCDO, but getting a sense of something building up at work. Maybe just general tensions and speculation as CFC2 gets closer, but it's enough for curios me to keep holding there (but one eye always keenly on here!) atb Au
Deary me, what is happening! Happy birthday regardless mate, on the bright side, it's Friday! You hitting the town tonight? Actually, you did say you hoped to pick up more DQE @ 35p next week... now it looks possible :)
36.70p is very tempting. First need to figure my best course of action regards OCDO. Possibly reduce my holding there, but not an easy decision. Au
you saw that too. Many happy returns for tomorrow, let's hope you get your birthday wish!! Au
38p for 5k shares? I'm being quote 36.7p for 5k shares, what's that about? Au
meant for OCDO board... Au
The same broker has turned its eye towards online grocer Ocado, and thinks its third quarter (Q3) sales update is likely to disappoint. "Despite a slow start to Q3 due to the Bank Holidays around the Diamond Jubilee, Ocado (as of the interims) still expected to see accelerated sales growth in Q3 and Q4. Given the likely impact of the Olympics upon sales, this now looks unlikely, as it always did," predicts Panmure Gordon, which is a seller of the stock. "We are looking for 13% sales growth in Q3, but this looks to have downside risk. We believe that Ocado continues to underperform its multichannel competitors," the broker said.
Actually counting on DQE to stay steady tomorrow, getting all my thrills with OCDO atm and it's brown trousers time with IMS due in morning :/
that's a buy, and ask ticked up to 36.85p (woo-hoo??) Au
Yeps. had a couple of week in traffic jams..then catching up on sleep/gossip/shares. Back to buying in shares with sellers again now lol
Best to pretend it's not there, then when it goes up it'll be a lovely surprise :)
yup, agree 3k @ 36.90p should be a buy, err but 10k @ 36p, that looks like our a seller. Oh dear. Au
not 'with', just optimistically... Au
also have funds tied up, awaiting ocdo ims this week, if good (he says with optimistically) may be able to top up here. Atb Au
Should we go halfers to get things started?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll probably regret saying this, but what's happened to our seller? Last week, was selling as low as 33p. Would have thought the small rise on BK news should have prompted an opportunity to offload more? Dare I say it, any chance they're done? Au
Unlucky on the poker mate, don't play much myself (as I'm rubbish and my poker face is a complete giveaway). Sense with DQE, the market is still waiting for something else to happen before it reacts properly. Personally feel DQE need another major investor to get on board - someone somewhere must be eyeing this up. And if not, why not! Au
