1p will be fine: can I have the cheque now?
Don't you mean by the end of June Stuy? !!!
Flaming June ;-))
"By the end of June I would expect to see us much much higher.. " You keep saying that, you better be right!! lol England 2 Wales 1 : )
From what I gather, RC will be making Mexico our main focus from hereon.. He's very upbeat and I better not post his actual comments on here.. But I do keep in touch with all CEOs where I invest... (Except Stefan now :-))).. Despite where our SP is sitting, I am happy to hold and add.. If anything else, at least I've manage me to add at these silly prices.. By the end of June I would expect to see us much much higher.. 1p by Xmas? Or is that a ramp to far!
Some current and good research here, lol Very relevant. MEXICAN OIL AND GAS SECTOR IS EMBRACING OUTSIDE SKILLS, TECHNICAL SUPPORT, AND INNOVATION http://www.ogfj.com/articles/print/volume-13/issue-6/features/sme-investment-in-mexico.html
You haven't "learned quickly" enough......5 years, slow I'd say......lol (not funny really) I'll say it again, AIM is not for you.
"do you not think at some point a company could have sufficient revenues after investing the funds raised in previous placings in its business plans? " Hmmmm let's recap March 23rd "Northcote Energy . . . has raised £450,000 via the issue of 1,428,571,429 . . . shares . . . the proceeds of the Placing will be used for general WORKING CAPITAL purposes and to fund certain growth initiatives" April 20th "a placing of 1,587,301,587 . . . shares . . . to raise gross proceeds of £500,000 . . . which will be used to complete the Mayan Drilling Fluids remediation plant while retaining adequate WORKING CAPITAL . . ." One thing I have learned quickly on AIM and that is that shareholders never get any tangible value from money spent on working capital.
scott, lol Funny you said that - there is a post just now on RRR board aimed at Mr M; blimey 5 years in RRR, no wonder!! "That's where you do your own research fella,, if you don't have the information you require after 5 years of posting here, then I suggest its not the investment for you, gl to you"
"The maths is simple. Either a company has sufficient revenue streams to meet its outgoings or it doesn't. If it doesn't you have to expect that it will issue shares." I realise you have had a very nasty experience with RRR and still trying to come to terms. However, do you not think at some point a company could have sufficient revenues after investing the funds raised in previous placings in its business plans? Isn't that why companies raise monies? What then I wonder...........Mr Magic gets his cheque book out, lol
Wish the rrr board would wind in tragic's leash, he is about at welcome as Geldof in a fishing port.
Yet another sermon! Does the word repitation mean anything to you? Please find another congregation.
Jackal - "We are undervalued, all history aside. I've air ed my views on the dissatisfaction of the dilution and for now I'm happy to leave it there unless more comes." How can you be "happy" while ever that discounted dilution cloud hangs over the proceedings? It can't be ignored. It won't conveniently go away. One has to address the issue head on, accept why it has been done and then look to see if revenue streams are being created to prevent the need for further dilution and share value destruction. Until detailed revenue figures are published, who now can believe that there won't be more dilution? As for value, I think the regular crew on every AIM BB I read reckons their stock is undervalued. Trouble is most of those stocks are regularly issuing shares like throwing confetti at a wedding and the reg's just refuse every time to factor the massively increasing share issue into their valuations. No surprise there of course. Paid Brokers equally conveniently choose not to factor in the future share issues in their sensational Broker Reports with their fantastical future target SPs, targets which of course never materialise because of that glaring omission. Beware imo, anyone who offers a stock valuation by totting up the value of each asset or investment but who doesn't then factor in how many more shares there will be in issue by the time those asset values are realised. Jackal - "it will be some cannot move passed the past and that is dangerous if they are looking to recoup paper losses." More dangerous to ignore the past and believe that the past will not repeat itself. On AIM stocks the dilutive aspect seems to repeat with monotonous regularity ! The maths is simple. Either a company has sufficient revenue streams to meet its outgoings or it doesn't. If it doesn't you have to expect that it will issue shares.
A lot of drilling is going to happen in MX plus workovers and recompletions. I saw something the other day and posted it on here: it said drilling muds accounted for 10% of total drill costs. Selling drilling muds from the MDF should be a money earner. To have the RP taking the remediation and making the drilling muds with a oilfield services company to sell it would make a lot of sense. DYOR
Halliburton and Schlumberger are two of the biggest players in this market that's why they are the biggest losers at the moment - they are cutting their cloth etc etc Any associated oil service based activitities that NCT take in Mexico is a very different business model and in my opinion is more an opportunity than a liability.....think about scales of operations......
lab rat - badly researched? Definitely not, you just need to look for yourself. I could give you plenty of these type links - oil services is the what investors are looking to get back into right now......indeed, the companies you mention are investing in their infrastructure....big growth area even with low oil prices.....oil production still needs oil services....yesterday... http://247wallst.com/energy-business/2016/06/15/investors-prefer-oil-field-services-now-over-ep-stocks-3-to-buy/
The service based sector is still affected by the oil price, they are the first to be squeezed as producers look to cut costs. Halliburton and Schlumberger falling profits are clear evidence of this. 50% fall in Schlumberger profits from this year to last is a big swing, Halliburton is running at a loss. Pemex have been cutting costs, first target will have been the oil services providers. Badly researched post.
"We are committed to Mexico for the long haul and plan to leverage our existing investment and operations to build a substantial business providing services to the Mexican energy sector. " Substantial service business. Think is pretty clear that we will see Northcote moving to a oil services based business model - avoid the big swings/uncertainty of a volatile oil price environment ; Mexico has a low cost oil production base (mid $20s) so rather than contraction Mexico is expected to grow - not least internal demands; hence MX oil/energy related services opportunities.
thing is, I suspect that with what we do know is going on in Mexico and add in what we don't know currently....yet......Northcote will be the new MXO, much bigger in Mexico by a mile, lol Funny old world. For anyone not aware, RC effectively helped MXO put their MX structure together (that is how NCT got it's MXO 20% Participation Rts and 38M MXO Warrants) - imo he still has all his contacts to pull off some quite major deals in Mexico, let's see; something big is definitely brewing, imo : )
Jackal, everyone needs a bit of luck agreed this is not about luck - MX building blocks do not happen over night - e.g. Abraham Achar has been a full time NCT executive for over year; I expect he might be making his debut very soon, imo
Would you like to expand on the "massive news by the end of June 2016" you alluded to yesterday? Cheers
"Upon completion, the Facility will commence operations...." why would operations start - that must means one thing - they have customers (possibly the $900K contracts they mentioned last year - which were put on hold); from the same RNS, 20/4: "Key water handling and treatment permit obtained in February 2016 by the CONAGUA (National Commission of Water) necessary for commissioning the plant will also allow MDF to move forward with service contracts previously announced in 2015."
as DC says, NCT already have a partner, no need for MXO to get a share of the spoils. Gaia are the MDF operator for the plant, NCT are the financiers - MXO could not bring anything to the table, so no added value. The plant is fully funded and very near now to being fully operational - within 90 days means as of now, around a month to go.... 20/4/2016 RNS Approximately US$380,000 will be immediately funded by the Company for purposes of fully completing and commissioning the plant within ninety (90) days. Upon completion, the Facility will commence operations on a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week basis, with a processing capacity of 845 tons per day which represents an increase of approximately 20% from the 700 tons per day originally contemplated (please see RNS dated 29 July 2015).
I was going to put very undervalued but didn't want to push my luck with some on here! I think the market will start to wake up and like you say Orslega these prices will be long gone.
"We are undervalued, all history aside" Very true. Understatement imo, NCT is very undervalued. "Sometimes opportunity knocks on AIM when an SP has hit rock bottom" Agreed. Grab it while you can, based on what I am pretty certain will happen, this price is not going to available near term; no where near. this is not advice it is my opinion based on what the company has said they are doing and some very deep research, we'll see soon enough.
