Talking Sense.... please explain how you come to the conclusion as to me asking a question and having no interest in the answer ? I acknowledged your answer in my post so I have absolutely no idea what on earth you are going on about . How you have come to the conclusion that I had no interest in the answer is basically bonkers ! I think it's you that's making yourself look silly by ramping the hell out of Lolworth .
……..what have they disposed of now…..what’s your guess?……. https://x.com/dds_docholiday/status/1745782286660882722?s=46
"It makes more sense to me to concentrate on one area rather than spread yourself thinly"
That is exactly what most of us have been saying for years, CB was guilty of this scattergun approach. Stick multiple holes in the ground in different areas and you might hit the jackpot. The problem is it's this strategy is based on chance.
So why dud you ask the question to which you had no interest in the answer and not just post your thoughts (made yourself look a little silly as well)?
I agree with you on the apparent scattergun historic drilling across other areas....wasn't a good plan.
Also good to see you totally agree with the new BOD strategy of concentrating on Crewick with drilling.
Let's see what ghr phase 1 results bring.
Talking Sense, that's a very detailed answer , fair enough . But in 2019 Ecr had an encouraging hit at Creswick. They then proceeded to drill everywhere APART from Creswick, HR3 etc etc .It makes more sense to me to concentrate on one area rather than spread yourself thinly . Point taken about the weather but they do need a hit as it's 5 years this summer since that occurred.
……now.now,tetchy……😂…..you remind me of someone, I can’t put my finger on it 😉
Yes black hopper ...this basic stuff . The sp looks pretty basic, admittedly.
Tamer investor.. There are amoeba on Saturn that know more about whats going on at Ecr than you do .I know what's going on with the share price though .Not that much . Please post where I stated that .... I KNOW WHATS GOING ON AT ECR ????
Gosh... this basic stuff eh!
Nicepair, Because it's the rainy season in Queensland so everything pretty much comes to a standstill from the end of November to (if I recall correctly) around March April.
As this weeks RNS stated they already have plans for further sampling, trenching and drill target identified once the dry season is upon us again.
As the BOD previously stated they have reviewed the historic data at Creswick and have identified areas of interest with the first two being Dave Road (drilling programme complete, awaiting results) and Cuboid Hill (drilling to commence soon) , with 'at least 10' target areas identified.
I would expect the focus to be on Lolworth through the dry season , with Creswick being the focus every wet season.
Better some drilling action at identified targets in Creswick rather than sitting on their hands for 4 months waiting for the rain to stop in Queensland.
....h and with the recent raise and asset disposal we have the funds to cover the planned activities through 2024.
…..Nicepair…..because it’s the rainy season in QL….and you pretend to know whats going on at ECr😂
Talking Sense ... I notice that many of your posts do seem to mention Lolworth .If Lolworth was that good and promising as you intimate. Then why are Ecr going back to Creswick ??
Mental, I think we need to see tangible progress towards a commercial resource rather than commercial grades from these initial Creswick drills.
We are only drilling down 100m..... a commercial find at those shallow depths would blow the door off...lol
For me , some decent grades in the majority of drills that demonstrate the vein structure is as anticipated would be a positive results from these initial drills.
I still believe that Lolworth will be the potential game changer this year and when we start the trenching and drilling there we will see the dial move significantly on the ECR SP. The results so far (and they are early stage) have been consistently excellent for gold and the REE results soon will hopefully continue the good progress on that front as well.
Until the drilling results we will continue to ho-hum in the 0.2s.
Have a good weekend all !!!
They may have multiple updates pending but there has been 22 RNS’s since the board change and we’re sat at .23 bid. Kind of proves the market only cares about commercial grades. All else is jam tomorrow.
…..MrSausage what do you think Mike’s modus operandi for posting this on X an hour ago is ……...."We've got multifarious announcements to follow as guided from disposals to drilling data"
Sausage, I've been in ECR on and off for over a decade so twitter is definitely not my sole source of information.
Nor would I discount any research or links just because an individual posts it on any forum, including Twitter.
I would read the information, try to validate it and deem if it is credible/relevant.
The 'pump and dump' theory would have more relevance if the share price had actually gone up 5 fold in the last 3 months where your coalition of the Twitterati have been posting about ECR.
The vast majority of those posters have been relating the news....no wild '5p by valentines day' predictions, just sharing of the facts.
I also see that some have marked Doc as a 'red flag' as he has a history of making money in shares........and he has decided to take 90% of his salary in shares .... so would only make money if the SP increases (surely that would be a green flag?).
Anyway , I'm sure you're off to watch that Gene Hackman and Will Smith movie for the 100th time.
Dan,
So what does "It's not difficult to work out who you are" supposed to insinuate?
...............hey Nicepair.............what does multifarious mean ?........"We've got multifarious announcements to follow as guided from disposals to drilling data"............Doc on twitter
Sounds like you have a serious axe to grind with the Twitterati. It's not difficult to work out who you are. Most of us are here because of the failings and incompetence of previous management and not because Bel and Blowster are giving it a pump on Twitter, so save yourself a job.
"Would you refrain from investing in a share for the sole reason that there are 5 posters on twitter (one on the BOD and one an investor) reposting news on the share"
I wouldn't invest in a share if there were multiple (I listed a non exhaustive list of 5 which you now seems to be hung up on) people on Twitter daily tweeting and retweeting each others tweets about a company, when what they are tweeting about isn't really ground breaking news on the company. Yes they might have put some rocks in a bag and got the test result's back for those bags, they tweet about the company next door and the land next door having gold, then they try desperately to infer from the bag of rocks results and the bloke next door that ECR possess the mother load and that everyone will be rich. That just isn't true, they are simply trying to drum up the naïve to invest in an unproven land.
So the answer to the question is YES I would refrain from investing in a share that numerous individuals are clearly cross posting each other, if that was my SOLE research method. Luckily I don't base my research/ investment decisions on X posts.
So I have answered your question directly, so you answer mine directly, YES or NO.
Would you invest in a company SOLELY based on what numerous posters on X, all posting and cross posting each other, were saying about a company?
So if you read what I posted again, you'll see I said "You'd research anything before buying". What you do for research is up to you. If you want to listen to 5 poster Promoting the heck out of this and consider it to be the sum total of YOUR research then it's up to you.
ECR seems to be the latest target after TM1, HE1, ROQ for numerous individuals on X to combine and Promote, they will tell you they have bought in but they won't tell you straight away when they Dispose of their holding. I see EPP is also getting the same treatment from many of the same X posters
................https://x.com/DDS_DocHoliday/status/1745782286660882722?s=20............😏
……BlackHopper….that’s a lot of ticks ✅
But would you refrain from investing in a share for the sole reason that there are 5 posters on twitter (one on the BOD and one an investor) reposting news on the share and ignore all your other other research?
...seems to be what you are suggesting.
TalkingSense,
You'd research anything before buying into, wherever people topped it. Part of that research is to see if there are desperate individuals combining across social media to Promote & Dispose of this
Happy Friday ECR-lovers!
I have resisted posting much but as it's nearly the weekend......
This week's Lolworth RNS was a nice sensible summation of progress and work on what is a large greenfield licence. All the works carried out shows good promise for the future and justifies the next steps in exploration. There is nothing 'bad' in there. The next logical steps will commence in the spring. (tick)
The new team at ECR, who have interesting reputations and pasts, are doing exactly what they said they would from the outset and have critically commenced selling off some non-core assets. (tick) I'd expect a bit more of that. They have also commenced some fast and low cost drilling back on the most historically fruitful Victoria site. Not a bad idea it would seem. (tick... or big tick in waiting)
Lots more communication than before (tick), via all the usual channels. Why ever not??? I want a pic of the drilling rig and I want to see the depth sample boxes at Davey Road. Why wouldn't you? The local chap picking nuggets of surface was great!
It's pretty clear what will get this party really started. Some decent grades from the recent Davey Road drills. Same from coming Cuboid. Any JV on other Victoria licences... surely too much for ECR to do on its own, considering the spring return to Lolworth.... and Konda-P.....
Cripes, there is soooo much they could do..... any hits / wins / sales / deals will send this significantly north from here because here is an MCap sub £4 million for an explorer in a safe jurisdiction with multiple licences in the right places.
Foolish posts about nuggets and bars will continue, but all those posting, many who have been in ECR longer than I have, know exactly what is at stake. I suspect few, or more precisely, none are actually unhappy with the changes since last October.
Happy 2024 ECR. ?
