Dave re "How/why has bem retained the mcap all this time"
Could it perhaps have anything to do with the number of shares in circulation having doubled?
Hello....I share your views pretty much to the letter, glad to hear from you and thanks for posting. Dave...the Parkijaure licences did a lot of good for my nerves too. ;-)

Been adding today sub 4.2p (around my av) now holding more than at any other time.
Mcap stubbornly staying above ~30m for so long despite incredibly protracted affairs.
Been here for years and happy to wait for years more but happy to 'rebalance' up my exposure to kallak - ever the optimist maybe, but my view of Swedish mining goings on centre on a theme and hope this is one of 3 that goes a profitable way for me in the end, despite the signs and signals to the contrary.
How/why has bem retained the mcap all this time and I'm not up to speed on the % of shares over in Swedish hands at the mo but likely to be a solid majority by now. Iron ore up, bem surviving, alternative assets, further application at kallak and sp pretty low cf to recent years, I was a holder on the run to 16s (and down again)).
Haggan, kallak and stourman - even one of these coming good would likely payoff more than the cost of my exposure to all three but hopefully it'll end up with 3 out of 3.
Aim to slowly add bit by bit as long as sub 4.5p is avaliable.
Thanks to Andy for posting the below recently, just reposting so I can find again easily.

Bzm went bad for me with iron ore but happy to see how the situation plays out at beowulf (if at first you don't succeed etc etc).
KB has shown staying power - that goes along way for me, personally.

Small message to explain that not all of us swedes are thick.
Another mining company called boliden got a copper mine declined around christmas 2020 because of some enviromental permit that was not neccessary but the goverment (prob the green party members) somehow pushed the demand down bolidens throat.
Boliden responded by going to court and won then went to the goverment and won there again and got the law changed so that those so called nature 2000 permits should only be requried once you are applying for the eviromental permit wich is one of the last steps taken.
in only 6 months after being declined they got their aproval for the copper mine in laver.
This authot summs it up pretty good and gives more points to why beowulf should get their mining concession approved.

Someone or some group is somehow trying to grasp at every straw, real straws or imaginary straws to stop any new mines from being made but hopefully beowulf will get the same redemption as boliden got.
Otherwise i dont see how other countries will see us swedes as serious business partners.
Lack of communication to shareholders when not wanting money and 6 years of failing to change strategy on Kallak , whilst being lead a merry dance by Baylan over and aver again could be reasons to lose confidence in him.
Why do you feel that exactly? The Government is surely the problem. Having no confidence in Baylan and co to deliver a concession decision is more understandable.
Time for him to leave?
He's the Minister for Anti-Enterprise and Anti-Innovation. Made the role his own.
Amazing how a solid asset is being flushed down the pipe , are the Swedes really that thick.
Lol...;-)
The lows we've seen in recent years have been used by the opposition as an argument against us; so while we're not in a position to reap the benefits it strengthens the argument on our side that the cycle recovers and the demand remains high for all sorts of reasons.
Good job Sweden has a minister for enterprise and innovation who has the foresight to capitalise on the country’s natural resources.....
......I’ll get me coat.
Price has gone crazy
3card, good selection of what ifs? Kurt has been very quiet on the Kallak matter since our application was referred to UNESCO, so not sure why. I really like your last point about LKAB. However, as Aug has mentioned it's "Concession first!" which is what Kurt has stated prior, and having that is obviously the key to stronger negotiations. Maybe why the Government doesn't want us to have it. Lol.
I'm trusting that the next update will be juicy.
Cheers 3card.
3cardbrag! Perhaps a JV to supply the big boy’s clients with some super high – grade, as their own ore from deep mining, is now of a lower grade! High grade comes from being nearer to the surface, that’s why posh people drive their spider’s with the top down – they smell of reindeer xxxx…. lol.. Imo only atb…………………………..
Thanks Troaj.
Hello SJ...Yes, I know the metal prices, makes one weep...this is the up cycle we had hoped to be in business with.
6. There are secret negotiations going on for LKAB to take control of the mine. Buyout. We can but hope
Eric. IMHO there is no conceivable reason for UNESCO to take 7 months and counting to give an opinion as to whether a green mine some miles from Laponia's furthest boundary is acceptable.
There can therefore, again IMHO, only be one of a few reasons as to why this should be.
1. They have been asked to carry out extensive and time consuming research. Unlikely.
2. They have been asked to take their time or delay the result. Unforgivable.
3. The request was so vague as to incur lots of unnecessary tooing and froing. Very unprofessional.
4. They have responded and government has asked for further submissions. Duplicitous on the government's part.
5. The government is deliberately withholding the data. Shocking and illegal.
There may be other reasons.
Well I've not looked at metals prices nevermind Iron ore recently. Wow been going ballistic. Iron ore over $220 a tonne!! Copper record prices aswell. The majors such as Rio bhp etc doing really well. We know last time 2010-11 the juniors lagged behind. Hopefully just a matter of time before this all drips down. Given the concession we should really fly in this market. Come on!!!
Thanks Rune. Interesting though, that UNESCO still hasn't responded after six months, whether a date was set for a response or not. I wonder what else Baylan may have told UNESCO.
Cheers Rune. Best wishes.
Didn't think Mattias Karlsson was going to go away and forget about it. Good. ;-)
"In a normal consultation procedure, the consultation bodies generally have three months to respond, but with regard to requests for a statement from Unesco, the Ministry of Trade and Industry has not set a deadline for responding when the statement is to be received by the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Something that can further delay decisions in this government matter." - So clear to see what the idiot is doing.. When will it have consequences for him???
Aug, you are spot on with that I reckon.
