to move this sleeping panda. Free float only 21m of 36m (58%). Average volume - 22k shares, today 60k. Rupees per dollar seems to have peaked at end of November and reversing - which should be good IMO.
Note that 500 buy. Code?
Kicking off - at last
Added at 23.9p GLA
Starting to stir - time to add?
No expert on films, Kung Fu Panda might kick-start something - lol. Seriously, a great RNS about further entertainment contracts and the Indian exchange rate improving. Not sure on this last one but have heard India might be coming back this year. There used to be so regular RNS's from DQE but nothing now for ages. Think it really was the exchange rate losses in last interims that killed it last Nov.
In here but at these prices in 12 months time will probly seem like a bloody bargin. http://www.awn.com/news/films/dqe-announces-jungle-book-3d-animated-feature http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUr60zrFNEM Taken from Results in May Cinema: 2011 witnessed several animated movies in the Top 20 movies at the Global Box office including Car2, Kung Fu Panda 2, Puss in Boots and Rio with Box office collections in excess of US$500M for each. 'The Adventures of Tintin' a 3D film based on a comic book was also lauded by audience in India and abroad. With global animated movies experiencing increased demand and tremendous success at the box office, DQE has commenced developing its own animated films to be released from 2014 onwards. The release of our first feature film The Jungle Book for world wide release in the summer of 2014 is expected to generate significant revenues for the Group
expected any day - 'just because we haven't had one for ages. Law of averages and all that.
hi mate, yes some insightful info/opinions been given, always appreciated. noted re partner, lol
This is going to go up and my average has now gone down. Well I suppose, begrudgingly, IMO !
I've had over 40 years of investing in the market but still not perfected it. Most important thing to remember is that you can pick a stock that looks really cheap but if the market is poor or nobody is interested it wont rise. On paper this looks a bargain but it's strictly Ladbrokes money. The product is good with an international market. If it survives you should make a good profit.
ok,m8,i see uve met theses two chaps below,i know these two, there honest chaps and clued up on the workings of lse/aim...they'll help you out if you want, just dont introduce them to your partner..lol... thats my complimentary post for this evening..atb...
My average is the princely 34.5p which is ridiculous. I'm still here partly because I haven't got the hang of getting out when things go wrong and secondly because I can't see anything much that has gone wrong, except the sp. I think I will average down soon 'cause I'm that kinda guy. From the Interims on 12th November, the last peep we got out of DQE : Revenue: US$17.39m (2011: US$19.88m) · EBITDA: US$6.34m (2011:US$ 8.18m)* · Profit before tax: US$1.79 m (2011: US$ 2.70m) · Order book currently at: US$154 m (2011: US$155.03m)** · Cash and cash equivalents: US$ (6.14)m (2011: US$7.06m) · Revenue in local currency increased by 5%, however as the financials are presented in US$ (a non-functional currency of the Group), the 20% depreciation of INR against the US$ since September 2011, offset the gain. · The decline in EBIDTA and PBT is on account of the foreign exchange loss as compared to profit during the previous corresponding period as well as the impact of INR/US$ exchange rates. · During the six months ended 30 September 2012 the Company has repaid loans to the extent of US$9.37 m (US$ 4.7m net) and has invested US$ 3.9m for development of its intellectual properties, the majority of which is for the pre-production of 'The Jungle Book' feature film. So, they've paid off a lot of debt; lost a bit on currency exchange; order book is the same; spent on IP; where's all the doom and gloom in that. This is coming back - I decree it. Where is the bottom, it's got to be somewhere around this price. Trouble is we've never been so low so there's no 'levels'. I'm going to risk a few more pennies. they used to issue news regularly - must be something soon.
I don't think there is any serious investor who has not suffered from bouts of excessive optimism at some point. It's natural to imagine what if.......and only factor is one scenario when in fact life is more likely to thow in a dose of the unexpected and several scenarios. Certainly discipline is a key to success, but not an easy one as it requires the control of the excitement and emotion generated. I do have stop losses and take profits along the way up. But even now i still find it hard to take a loss but accept that is the only way to make money overall. It is a lesson i have learnt and come accept. Like you the dream of 'what if' is still there to test me each time i buy a new share... It will just take me several more trades. GL
Appreciate the compliment - tbh am not the most experienced investor/trader (got caught out here), but doing what I can to improve my game. Think you posted on another board, can learn more from when things go wrong, than when they go right. Over-exposure and excessive optimism have been my downfalls. More discipline, less greed. atb Au
Hi, Certainly the potential is there and the product appears a good one. The cost should be very competitive aswell against any competitors. Thanks, it is always a refreshing sign when there are good posters on a board like yourself. GL
